Prebooked a taxi after take that for…

Prebooked a taxi after take that for 11pm. At midnight the only people still waiting for taxis at pick up point were radio taxi customers. Was told it could be another hour. At that point threatened to go to press and then a taxi arrived. Was told there were still 100 people waiting. Why prebook taxis for so many more than you can actually fill. Ladies left vulnerable in an industrial estate with no way home.

Let down by Radio Taxi's

I had a pre-booked taxi with Radio Taxi's for 11.15pm to collect our party of 4 from the Take That gig at St Mary's Stadium.

It had been booked in advance beginning of May and confirmed both by email and writing so felt reassured.

After the event there were hundreds of people waiting for taxis after the event at the allotted place -all pre-booked which didn't arrive. Ours did not arrive nor did I receive any updates to advise of any delays.

At 11.30pm I called Radio Taxi's to be advised that no drivers were available and couldn't give an ETA but confirmed that we would get one when a driver was available and that we would be a priority as we were 4 females.

Another call at 12.15am to be told the same. I stressed how anxious we were feeling at being stranded in an inner city area in an industrial estate and how vulnerable we were. At this stage we were not only anxious but cold. Again I was told that we were a priority.

There were still others waiting but the numbers were depleting. There were a lot of people who were let down by Radio Taxis.

I finally had a message on the app at 12.30am that a driver was on the way which arrived at 12.45am - 1 - 1/2 hours after the pre-booked time.

The gig was a large event which taxi companies will have been aware of and the demand for their services.

Radio Cabs this is appalling service- if you are not able to fulfill your service please do not take the bookings. I am aware that this booking was not the only failure of service and that a lot of people were left a long time worried how they would get their destination.

Absolutely terrible service

Absolutely terrible service.
Not the drivers fault admittedly,who were very polite, but whoever is in charge of logistics certainly needs a huge refresher on public service.
A taxi was booked for 11.15pm. After half an hour late,a phone call, advised my group of four females were on a priority list. A further 30mins passed with no communication from the company which resulted in another phone call...each took over 10mins to connect ( phone battery dying at this point)
Finally over 90 mins late a taxi arrived.
By this time,we were all cold, anxious and feeling vulnerable,waiting on a now almost deserted industrial estate.
Radicabs Southampton sort it out!
Why take a booking you're too busy to fulfil effectively?
Yes,we know it was a busy evening after an amazing Take That concert...but you knew it would be. Let's face it as a
" professional company " surely you've experienced these situations before.

Our taxi was pre booked

Our taxi was pre booked for after the concert at 11pm, there were no radio taxis at the pick up point by 11.30 and a lot of angry people all who had booked through radio taxis, after lots of phone calls we eventually got picked up just before 12am but this was because we threatened to take it further and go to the press, there were still a lot of people waiting mostly women who you had abandoned in not the safest of places, I hope everyone waiting got home eventually

DO NOT USE- turned up 1h 30m late.

DO NOT USE! Had a taxi booked for 11.15 post Take That gig, along with a lot of other people whose Radio Car taxi let them down. 2 phone calls to them and told there were NO TAXIS AVAILABLE despite booking. After much nagging, picked up at 12.50am (1 hr 30 mins late!!). 4 females alone on a dark industrial estate. Shocking and disorganised company.

Shocking service on what they knew was going to be a very busy night

Absolutely appalling experience with these guys on first night of Take That show at the stadium. Pre-booked a cab from the stadium for 11.15pm pickup, after waiting 1.5 hours for the cab to show were told they had 55 other people waiting & they couldn’t get us a cab at all. Eventually one of their off duty drivers took pity and picked us up at 00.50am. We were 2 females waiting alone in the middle of an industrial estate, shocking service. Seems they operate like Uber…take your booking without confirming if they have a car available, if they don’t, it’s bad luck for you. Why take the booking if you know you can’t fulfil it.

Thank you, Nirvana, for clear communication and sympathetic understanding. I was on a cruise when my husband had a serious health issue and it was uncertain what was happening. I communicated this via email and received fast return communication and compassion from Nirvana. At a time where I had many concerns, she made sure the taxi issue was not one of them. Looking after our elderly parents

Hi, hope the Leadership team of Radio Taxis read this please?
Every Sunday my 84 year old Mum books a taxi through you to take her home.
She’s had such a wide ranging experience. Best is a wave and a “Hello” to me to know she is safe and sound to a driver that couldn’t give a damn, gets frustrated when she can’t do up her seat belt and doesn’t even acknowledge me. Tonight was the latter unfortunately. 😞😞

WORST ORGANISATION EVER!

ZERO STARS - WORST ORGANISATION EVER!
Booked two cars for 6 people. First car arrived 20-minutes late and the second arrived a further 10-minutes later.
We missed our ferry and will NEVER use Radio Taxis again

We feel this is an unfair assessment considering you did not pre-book this journey, and booked ASAP. We can't be held responsible for rushing last minute journeys. Upon listening to the call, the staff made it very clear that we wouldn't be able to get to the Ferry on time, The journey itself between Southampton Airport and Red Funnel is around 20 minutes. Rush hour looking 30 to 40 minutes.

Unreliable

Taxi drivers were friendly and helpful, but the organisation is very poor. Used them twice recently, booked in advance but they don't seem to organize drivers until after the time the taxi was booked for. Had to ring them both times, the first they got annoyed that I was hassling them to get to my train (they were 20 minutes late) and the second time the answer machine said calmly that the taxi would come within 10 minutes, after it was already 8 minutes late. They don't seem to care about booking times.

e mailed a booking request which went…

e mailed a booking request which went through exactly as requested. on the back of that booking made a return request - although time wasn’t known. so, as advised I called up the company , and the booking kicked in. taxi there in minutes - absolutely as it should be quick, easy and prompt. credit where it’s due, great service !

Driver was very helpful

Recently had an accident in town and was unable to walk. I was helped into a Radio taxis cab by members of the public. The taxi driver took me to A&E. Throughout the journey he was considerate and concerned. When we got to A&E he went in and got a member of the medical staff to come and get me with a wheel chair. His help was much appreciated. I will also add that I always use Radio taxis as I have always found them reliable.

Radio Taxis Always Reliable

I hsve been booking radio taxis for years and other that an odd one they are all brilliant drivers and I feel safe with them and pick up time is good. Phone operators just as good and friendly. I won a competition through radio taxis and picked up in a stretched limousine a beautiful meal in ocean village and no waiting for our limo to take us home. Besides the competition I would always recommend Radio Taxis

Disgusting Service.

I had booked my taxi in advance to pick me up at 3.15pm, at 3.40 it arrived. As I had pre-booked i did not expect to wait, especially without any contact or apology. I telephone the office twice while I was waiting only to be told it was on its way. It started to rain at 3.20 and as I was waiting on a street corner I got extremely wet. At 84 years old that is not a good idea.
I am a regular customer and did not expect to be treated like this. Most of the drivers know me and my usual destinations but I did not recognise this driver. I will be investigating Uber to try them.

Wonderful service

Wonderful service. My daughter won a competition for a VIP day at saint marys stadium. Radio taxis were amazing from start to finish. Taxi turned up on time and took them to the event. Radio taxis could not do enough for everyone. It was an absolutely fantastic day. They accommodated everyone on the day and also made sure everyone got home too. 5 star service. Thank you very much xx

Excellent and prompt service.

Excellent and prompt service. Everything was great from start to finish. We booked via the phone at the Premier Inn. Sure we were on hold, but the woman on the phone was warm and friendly. We aren't extremely tech savvy, but love the app and looking forward to using you next year.
