Im travelling alone with injured knees…

Im travelling alone with injured knees and crutches, its been 2.5 hours since i made a food order with room service and no answer on the telephone, and reception is also not answering phone, i am stuck not being able to leave my room as I cannot walk properly or long distances and I have no help or communication from anyone. I even tried calling the hotel emergency line and nobody answered. Is this how you treat disabled people? Will never stay here again.

Stressful experience with reservation

I made a pre-paid reservation at the Radisson Blu in Stansted. According to their T&C I have the option of change the dates of the reservation. However, I have been trying to get hold of them but no-one answers the phone. It's been several days, many calls and two emails and still no answer. I feel scammed for having made the reservation directly on their website. I wish I'd done it via different platform with a transparent option to change dates and make a cancellation. Very disappointed.

BAD EXPERIENCE IN STETTIN BLU

A pair of earpods vanished from our room. We reported it to the front desk. Next day asked if any news about the missing item. Seemed like the gentelman had forgotten our inquiry from the day before. Took it very lightly asking if we had checked the room. Maybe they should advise people not to store valuables in the room.

Stayed at the Radisson Blu hotel paid…

Stayed at the Radisson Blu hotel,Letterkenny paid €358 for two nights. Decided to have the four course meal as offered to us for an extra €60, booked it and sat down for the meal and was told we should have paid before hand. Staff at the desk didn’t inform of us that. Then came back to the hotel a little after 11pm Sunday night to have a night cap in the bar only to be told the bar closed at 11pm. When I was in the bar last night, asked for peanuts or crisps and was told there was a vending machine down the hall. I’d expect that from the Travel Lodge but not somewhere I had spent so much money on. Back to the room, tea made but milk was sour and biscuits out of date by a few weeks. Absolutely horrendous service, would never stay with them again and suggest you avoid this particular hotel anyway if not all of their hotels. Very good reason to holiday abroad, service like this is the reason they are struggling.

For a 5* could do better.

We booked a fully inclusive holiday in Crete, Greece at Raddison Blu.

I would have given it 1 star had it not been for the amazing scenery, blue water, and private sandy beach.

Radisson Blu gave us a room whereby we found mold in the wardrobe. Eventually, after lots of negotiation, they accepted to change our room. They gave us a room with a better view room. Thank them for that.

I gave it 3 stars because the "all-inclusive" hotel food was terrible, cheap, and untasty.

The staff was overworked and that was reflected in their service.

5* in Greece is not the same as 5* in the UK.

Shame Radisson Blu, you have an amazing location in Crete.

Why you don't care about improving your food, get more staff, and amend broken stuff in your hotel rooms?

Unorganised - Charged Twice!

Booked two rooms online for Radisson Blue Spa, Belgium - Arrived at hotel to be told that payment was needed, as nothing had left my account I paid at check-in. After checking out and travelling home the initial online payment had been taken as well as the second payment when we checked in. Total €750 for 1 night!!

That’s not all, we used the underground parking facilities for two cars at €18 each. Paid the total of €36. Again when we got home we got the lovely surprise of seeing we have also been charged €125 to park for one night!

Very unhelpful when I called, said they’d call back 3 times and never did. We are currently €550 out of pocket and they are doing nothing to help resolve the issue.

Complete and utter joke - Stansted

Complete and utter joke. Being woken up with the fire alarms 3am at night is pretty grating when you suffer from Insomnia. Then when finally being ushered back in from the cold, was told all is ok you can go back to your rooms now. Asked if it was a fault or genuine emergency and was told and I quote “oh no we were just testing the alarms, it was scheduled and all was fine’. I’ll refrain from sharing my choice words after this comment. Did not even apologies. Either I was lied to or management is truly inconpetent. Either way I will no longer ever stay at a Radison Blu again

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER..

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER... It was very cold outside and the room was not isolated at all. Therefore temperature was 10C inside the room. I asked for a solution and they said they only have 5 heaters...

After 1 hour of talking to them asking to change for another hotel they said I could stay for the last two nights in another room with heating for the same price I had in the reservation.

Checking out they charged me extra for those two nights!!

Adriana the manager was very rude, said that I was lying and I asked for that upgrade. Etc.

Gym was dirty, tiny, and broken, swimming pool is tiny and cold, you can't use it. Sauna only reach 30C so useless as well

THANKS

Radisson Edinburgh not good!

Stayed at Edinburgh Radisson so many times. But won't again. Cup in room not changed, rubbish in bin, dust on bathroom shelves, furniture damaged and broken lamp shade, empty bottles of complimentary toiletries. No drawers anywhere to put your things or undies in... are you meant to hang them them up in the wardrobe????? All in a £600 a night room. Was a treat for my 50th birthday. Shocking shocking shocking!!!!!! Staff not even bothered when told, disappointing.

Worst Radisson experience I’ve ever had

I wouldn’t give Radisson a star if I didn’t have to.

I sent the below email on the 01/08/22. Radisson asked for my confirmation number, which I sent. Nothing has been done since even though I’ve sent 3 chaser emails.

“Hi,

I hope you are well.

I was staying in room 606 in the Radisson in Bucharest.

I checked in on Friday. The checkin experience was really, really bad.

1. I was promised a room at 12 but didn’t get one til 3pm.
2. Their was a group of Italians constantly skipping the queue and security were not doing anything to stop them even though they could plainly see what was happening. An American guy and I had to stop them skipping. This could have easily escalated into a fight as the Italians were drunk and high in drugs. The reception staff were entertaining their requests as well and just letting them skip.
3. I was charged 58eur over the booking.com price. I had to ask the checkin agent to stop the charge before it went it and correct him.
4. I finally was given a room at 3pm (room 210), when I went to the room, it was already occupied. People were in there. This was highly embarrassing and potentially dangerous for me. I then had to go down to reception and wait another 20 minutes to get a room, while the Italian guys constantly skipped the queue again.
5. The floor I was put on (6th floor) is a construction site, with construction work going on all around me and dozens of bed frames and mattresses scattered around the hallways (I can provide videos and photos if you would like).
6. The Italian guys and others were constantly smoking weed beside the pool.
7. Before checking out today, their was a soiled condom in the middle of the floor on level 6 (I can provide photos of this too).
8. No management seemed to be present around the hotel at anytime. For example, all the reception staff had “trainee” tags.

On the plus side, the bar staff in the pool bar and the Outdoor bar were very fast and courteous. Well done to them.

Please send me your thoughts.

Enjoy your evening.

Thanks,
JB”

How could just one night be so bad?

I tried to fill out a survey sent to me after my stay, but it repeatedly broke. Coincidence???

I stayed at the Radisson Blu in Anaheim, CA. The hotel is beautiful and clean. I booked a room with a king bed and bunk beds because I was traveling with my 2 preteen sons for a basketball tournament. The reservation was completed through the link that was sent out from our basketball coach just as everyone in our group did. After arrival, we were informed that the room we had reserved was not available, nor was anything with more than one bed (2 queens was my hope!) and that this was my “fault” because I had booked a king room. We were given an “upgraded” (I was reminded of this REPEATEDLY) suite on a different floor from the rest of the team with one king bed and a pull out sofa, which none of us could have slept on. When we expressed that this wouldn’t work, we were told the hotel was fully booked and that we hadn’t booked through our group and this was the reason for the floor relocation. We were then given complimentary breakfast for our trouble. After the worst night of sleep we have ever had (you should try sleeping in one bed with 2 preteen boys!) we dragged ourselves downstairs for our complimentary breakfast, only to be told by a snotty woman at the restaurant that we were not allowed to dine that morning because we did not have a reservation. Maybe someone could have told us to make a reservation when they gave us the breakfast tickets????? That was it, I went to the front desk, got the manager (was kept waiting for several minutes for this as well) and was given $75 off my stay!!!! Keep in mind, the rooms booked through our group were $160/night, but they were charging me $250 for the “upgrade.” I tried to go back to my original booking to dispute the $250/night and it was no longer accessible because I had already had my stay. After no sleep, no acceptable breakfast, being treated rudely, AND being overcharged for an upgrade that I didn’t want and had only made the situation worse, $75 seemed insulting. Honestly, I was so happy to find a hotel close to Disney that was clean. I had hoped for a positive experience and to be able to return. What I found instead was a bunch of people who couldn’t care less that they were providing substandard customer service and blamed me for booking the wrong room type, not booking the right way to be with our group, coming to breakfast too late, and not making a breakfast reservation. We had to check out, play basketball games in the afternoon/evening and then drive home in holiday weekend traffic on no sleep. I will not return. What a disappointment.

Simply no response

We stayed in a Radisson Blu in Malta in December . The stay itself was great. I joined their rewards scheme and have written to them twice - once through the app the other time through 'contact us', in terms of getting reward points for our stay.
No response whatsoever.
Poor communications and customer care.

So upset at how the Blu Raddison in…

So upset at how the Blu Raddison in Anaheim treated me last night. I was a guest of a friend who stays there often and had left to go do a quick errand. I had gone downstairs to get a phone charger thinking I would bump into him down there. He his errand took longer than expected and he had been texting to let me know but I was locked out of the room and with everything in it. And nobody would even go in there to get my purse which had my ID, medication, phone and money in there. The staff then told me to leave as I was a not paying guest, I was a visitor and I had to drive out into Anaheim in the middle of the night which is a very bad area to try and get home 30 miles away. I told them I needed my medication because I was in no condition to drive, my car was on empty but my money is locked up in that room at the Blu Raddison, I had no phone to call for help when I would eventually run out of gas, and I didn't know how to get home because I use the GPS on my phone. And the security guard called me a liar when I was trying to explain the urgency of the situation. I believe she was like the others was stereotyping me but didn't do such a good job of hiding as they were trying to. They wouldn't even call the police or an ambulance for me or let me sit in the garage until hopefully my friend came back. I can't believe I was treated so terribly with no regard to my safety or anybody else as I should not have been driving like that and you don't want to sit in Anaheim as a female by yourself in dead of night without even a phone. Such a shame, I thought the hotel was so beautiful but apparently they don't treat everybody the same way. We are all human, it's 2022, so sad.

Went to Radisson Blu's spa this past weekend. Never saw such an unorganized facility. I was let wandering in the halls of spa carrying my clothes in hands without assistance. Staff does not care what you do. I was expecting a locker for my stuff and I got it at the end of my adventure which makes no sense. Bottomline; you pay you suffer.

I booked through booking.com for the…

I booked through booking.com for the Radisson blu Sussex in Mayfair. Got a call within a few hours from the Radisson to say it was closed but they’d transfer me to a similar property. No reason was given as to why they’re taking bookings on a closed property but it is, to my mind, misleading. When I arrived I realised that the similar sister property was right in Leicester Square and extremely noisy, definitely not similar or somewhere I’d chose to stay. I was also, on check in, charged considerably more than the rate on booking.com. I was told enquiries would be made. I got a phone call from the Sussex reception to my room at 11.10pm waking me, apparently in error. I had to wait a considerable period and jump through various hoops to get the overcharge refunded. Definitely didn’t get what I booked, hotel apparently unable/unwilling to resolve. Definitely wouldn’t go Radisson blu again, better options available.

Stay away from this hotel . I arrived with my friend this morning and checked in, unfortunately only one of our rooms was ready which wasn’t a problem at all as we wanted to visit the city right away. (Check in was about 30 minutes) When we came back at 6.30 pm to pick up my room key I was told the connecting room joined to my friends had technical problems. I was then asked if wanted to pay now wich i said I could do with my friend after a hot bath because of a long day on the road . They then told me they wanted a guarantee (not trusting me ) even tho my friend didn’t need one . This all took another 30 minutes of my day as the first person in line.
I then payed right away as I was tired and out of patience. They had already gotten all my info and Coronapas at check in but now wanted it again.
When i arrived to the new room it was not the same class as my friends, it did not have a bathtub like in the original room as i was given in the first place , i called the reception they then told me i couldn’t get the same type room ( no valid explanation). I feel ripped off, badly welcomed I will never come back and I will choose another hotel for my last night.
I have worked for the Costes in Paris i know what I’m talking about.
This is a 1 star treatment!!!

Radisson Blu - Denarau Island Fiji Is Bliss

The hotel is an end to end cohesive Fiji main land experience that titillates your senses from the well equipped rooms to the harmony spa and the aesthetically pleasing constructs of the surrounds. The culinary immersions available are quite riveting as you are spoilt for choice between multiple cuisines or good old bar grill food. This is an outstanding resort on Denarau Island and perfect for families, inter generational families and couples alike. Proximity and location to the Port Denarau enhances the location significantly. Be sure to try the spa, Sia is great at the authentic Fijian massages! I will return !
