Ragdale Hall changing (mgmt) for the worse???

I have been visiting Ragdale Hall for years and, until now, could not recommend it highly enough. I've introduced many friends to the spa over the years, both for day visits and overnight stays, and it has always been somewhere I considered special.

Unfortunately, my recent evening visit was extremely disappointing.

The spa felt overcrowded throughout the evening, particularly the infinity pool area, which was so busy that it was difficult to relax or enjoy the facilities. What was even more surprising was the lack of cleanliness. Several areas appeared unkempt and not maintained to the standard I had always associated with Ragdale Hall.

The atmosphere felt completely different from the calm, luxurious experience I had enjoyed on previous visits. Instead of leaving relaxed and refreshed, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

In fact, the experience was so far removed from what I had come to expect that I genuinely wondered whether the spa was under new management. When I got home, I looked it up and discovered that Ragdale Hall is indeed under new ownership and management. While change doesn't automatically mean a decline in standards, my experience certainly made me question whether the exceptional standards that once made Ragdale Hall stand out are being maintained.

It's particularly sad to write this review because I've been such a strong advocate for Ragdale Hall in the past. However, based on this visit, I would struggle to recommend it with the same confidence I once had. I sincerely hope improvements are made, as it would be a shame to see such a well-loved destination lose the qualities that made it so special.

Not good. Avoid!

This high-end spa used to be good. it has gone way downhill and you should avoid it at al all costs.
For anyone reading this review you'll know this is not a cheap place to stay.
The service was terrible, staff rude, rooms terrible.
Please note, this is does not include the treatment staff.
If you're expecting to be treated well at this 'wellness' spa, you will be disappointed, and will have spent a lot of money for that disappointment.
Go just about anywhere else for a better experience.
