They had their time
Looks like Raidsonic had their time.
Now twice with their ICY BOX casings for 3.5¨ HDD, i have experienced two faulty ones of those:
One where the file transfer kept cutting off from the computer (Windows 10) to the ICY BOX with a 2TB drive, where i ended up getting told, that it would take at least 50 minutes to transfer a 4.6 GB file to it.
Now a second one, which already on delivery did not even work at all, it would not start up the 2TB HDD i had put in it.
The very same in question 2TB HDD i then put inside an almost 10 year old USB 2.0 casing from another brand i had on storage and the drive started up right away and i could transfer files to it full speed ahead, so that concludes it was not the HDD that was something wrong with, but instead the two ICY BOX from Raidsonic.
I'm done with Raidsonic, next time i need something to put a HDD drive inside for USB purpose, then its gonna be a casing from one of their competitors instead.
