DODGY WEBSITE AS DOCTORS PAY THEM TO REMOVE NEGATIVE REVIEWS.
The title say's it all. They advertise that they won't take down negative reviews, that's a load of rubbish. Doctors can pay to remove negative comments about them. RateMDs are as dodgy as the Doctors who they let remove negative reviews.

Warning!

I had gynecomastia surgery with Dr. Brian Bruggeman at Airsculpt in Scottsdale nearly a year ago, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. My post-op appointments were rescheduled four times, requiring me to take time off work each time. When I was finally seen, I pointed out that a significant amount of tissue remained, which he acknowledged. A revision surgery was scheduled, but the day before, I discovered it had been canceled without any notice.

I made repeated attempts to resolve the issue with the office, but my concerns were ignored. This entire experience has been stressful, unprofessional, and has negatively impacted my mental health. I cannot recommend Dr. Bruggeman or his office based on my experience.

Bad attitude and bed manners and lack of communication

My children took there child which is still an infant to Dr Zechner a peadiatrian at Linnmed hospital. From the receptionist name Ina they already experienced a attitude and rudeness. When they went into the consulting room it just continued. Dr Zechner presented a bad bedmanners and was unprofessional, unfriendly and plain rude. She didn't explained her possible diagnoses and what the treatment she suggest. When she was admitted for the few days she did not speak to them, they had to asked the staff. They would have seen her once a day if they were lucky. And the problem is a lot of the public is complaining about her and the receptionist. And my concern is that a two month baby can't tell you what the Dr said. Her mother will be asked for coffee and what will want to eat, she will be happy if she do get it. Unbelievable they don't asked for there payments.

Dr Alex Koefman

I had a bungled surgery by a neurosurgeon Dr Alex Koefman. At greenslopes hospital Brisbane, Australia.
I had been diagnosed with spinal stenosis.
He was friendly and told me he would improve my quality of life, by fusing my lumbar spine L4-5. Plif surgery.
I had the surgery and I was in recovery when Dr Koefman came in and said’ she has to go back to theatre, because I have left something inside’.
Returned to theatre and given more anaesthetic and then I remember being back in recovery and I heard a nurse say’ she has lost a lot of blood, then I had a transfusion which used 2 bags ( units), from there to my hospital bed. Dr Koefman came to see me next day , and said the surgery was a success, but never mentioned that I had two surgeries in one day.
He Never never came to see me again but another doctor came to say he was there to represent Dr Koefman and report back.
I was in hospital for a week in pain and discomfort. On discharge I had 28 staples removed and skin folds above the incision , and now have worse pain than before . I have had to have plastic reconstructive surgery to repair the skin folds.
That surgeon asked ‘ who did this to you ?’
Currently I can’t stand for more than 15 minutes, and walking is difficult and I have balance issues .
An orthopaedic surgeon said I have sagittal balance, which has caused my walking gait to change.
I have a wheelie walker, and cane, and walk slightly hunched over, and wear a back brace to keep my back straight as possible.
I’ve had to see pain specialists who have done nerve ablation to no avail.
My quality of life has been diminished. Most of the day is spent lying down to relieve pain I take opioid for some relief, and my GP applied for a disability parking permit which I have as permanent. I also receive home help from the government.
The original fusion has not fused and now I need to have revision surgery.

I made an account with Ratemd and posted a review, and it was deleted. I was aware to tell the truth, and stick to the facts by my solicitor, which I did, yet the post was deleted. I read their terms and conditions and saw a reason why this might have happened, so tried to post another one similar to this, but they wouldn’t let me post it because ‘ you have already done a review on this doctor’…every time I tried to contact Ratemd I only got an automated response. This doctor has a ‘tick’ against his name which apparently means he can be notified of any review. So Ratemd is a useless website for the patient who is making a negative review
Everything I have said is accurate and I have all paperwork , including statements from Medicare that Dr Koefman made claims on both operations on the same day.

WARNING!

WARNING! Dr. Sachse at Broward Plastics, Fort Lauderdale, left my face and ears scarred and disfigured. Asked for a MINI facelift to smooth out wrinkles around my mouth and neck. He said I “needed a FULL facelift to fix that". He worked alone with his secretary coming in to fetch some supplies for him, but she held my hand while he did all his cutting on both sides all at the beginning. She then returned to her reception desk. Procedure was excruciatingly painful. Ear pain lasting 3 weeks - just lumpy tissue now. I had to pay for a FULL facelift, but contrary to Medical literature he now claims full facelifts do not address the mouth and neck areas. Why did he say he could do this? He offered to fix the large crease he left in my earlobe, but after all this damage he will never touch me again. I require revisions to correct his mess. I was cheated. I’m pleased to share my photos. Ph: 416-483-7100.

Stay Away From Dr. Rodrick Hurt, MD

I would never recommend Dr. Hurt, not even to my worst enemy. A family member was under his care, and the fact is that Dr. Hurt was called several times over multiple hours but never returned the nurses' calls. According to protocol, on-call doctors are expected to respond, but Dr. Hurt never did. This is unprofessional and extremely inconsiderate. I could provide more details about the facts surrounding this situation. Everything stated in this review is strictly factual.

The Absolute Best!!

When I first arrived here, I had a doctor with whom I could discuss anything, and we always found common ground. He made me feel at home with his genuine comfort, sincerity, and the presence of family-like care. After his passing, I felt lost, struggling to find the sense of belonging we all need to thrive. Now, with Dr. Nilesh Mehta at Unity Point in Bettendorf, I've regained that feeling of home. My wife and daughter have noticed the positive change in me and are happier as well.
Dr. Mehta is the epitome of what a doctor should be. He combines deep medical expertise with genuine compassion and an exceptional bedside manner. His ability to listen and provide personalized care makes every patient feel valued and understood. Dr. Mehta truly goes above and beyond the call for help, demonstrating unwavering dedication to the best interests of everyone who walks into his office. His professionalism and kindness are unparalleled, and his welcoming nature makes patients feel at ease, knowing they are in the best hands. He is more than a doctor; he is a trusted partner in my health and well-being.
Don’t you dare settle for less!

Something seriously off

Something seriously off and strange about this site. I had previously used it for read only. I then went to highlight some gross incompetence and emotionally abusive admin staff which was an overdue complaint regarding my former local GPs surgery here in Ireland, only to find the message 'site unavailable In Your country' pop up Everytime
BUT I can say I've seen rate mds before list off Irish doctors. This was useful to me when I got a procedure done here by someone I later read has a reputation for abuse despite being wealthy white collar, and most importantly having a duty of care to their patients. In fact I grew a little paranoid that it was a IP address blocking, which I hope I'm wrong about because that's crazy.

Lists deceased Doctors, and doesn't list practising Doctors. Defies purpose of the site.

Was curious about the partner of one of my specialists, as the partner had some appalling Google reviews. The partner was not listed at all (though my Doctor was.)
So I started nosing around.
Was pretty stunned to discover that one of my old doctors - who was an exceptional physician - was in the top 400 for his speciality. It wasn't that he was rated #392, but that he was #392 AND had passed away 8 years ago!
After that? The site loses all credibility.
It is also, obviously not a comprehensive list of doctors, so comparisons become even more problematic when they are comparing (apparently current) listings for doctors who have passed away, and no listings
for practising doctors/specialists.

Do not trust this site

Do not trust this site, it deletes my comment every time I post about the horrible treatment I received from Dr. Yves Hebert in Montreal. The doctor was very racist towards me.

This website is a toxic waste of time

This website is a toxic waste of time. It is a business that holds the medicos to ransom . You can pay them a monthly fee to vet the comments and remove negative comments . All the doctors who are promoted ( payed up members) on their site have 100% good reviews . This is not possible ! It’s a pity the system is too weak to weed out such predatory sites

I have had to repeatedly re post my Negative experience I have had with DR Jonathon Spear at MLCOA Perth and also based at Rockingham Hospital, I am not the only one who has left negative reviews and have had them removed, how can anyone trust rate md if they remove genuine concerns in an attempt to pre warn others.
Dr Spear is Reckless and Dangerous and should not have the Government protected paycheck.
