Surface Preparation Guidelines All surfaces must be clean, dry, stable, and free from grease, dust, or loose material. Interior wood should be primed prior to coating. Iron and steel require the use of Metalex anti-rust primer. Aluminium and galvanised surfaces must be thoroughly degreased and prepared using Waterprim or a suitable multi-support primer. Previously coated surfaces should be lightly abraded to remove surface sheen and promote adhesion. Do not apply to cracked or split timber. Avoid application below 5°C, in direct sunlight, or when rain or strong winds are expected. Application and Finish Recommendations Apply by brush or enamel roller, spreading the coating evenly to achieve a consistent film. Two coats are recommended for exterior exposure. The enamel becomes touch dry after approximately one hour and can be recoated after 24 hours. Do not exceed eight days between coats. Clean tools and spills immediately with warm, soapy water. Restrictions and Environmental Considerations Do not apply to excessively hot, damp surfaces or in conditions of high humidity above 80%. Avoid use on wet, unprimed, or highly porous substrates. Never apply to cracked timber or where moisture content exceeds 15%. Do not dispose of residues into drains; waste must be handled via authorised disposal routes. The Matt finish is strictly for interior use only. Always Consult the Product Data Sheet For full technical guidance, refer to the latest product data sheet before use.
