Product details

Brand: Juno

Water-Based Enamel for Interior Protection Advanced water-based enamels designed with polyurethane resin to deliver long-lasting surface protection and excellent chemical resistance. Suitable for a range of interior applications, these coatings provide a tough, washable finish that resists burnishing and yellowing over time. Both finishes offer excellent levelling, delivering a clean appearance with minimal brush marks. The satin version offers a subtle sheen, while the matt version provides a flatter, modern look. Both are Fire Retardant on non-combustible substrates: Certified C-s2, d0 according to EN 13501-1:2007+A1:2009, and feature low odour and quick drying for minimal disruption during refurbishment work. Surface Preparation and Primer Compatibility Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from contaminants. Interior wood requires priming. Metal surfaces should be primed with Juno Metalex anti-rust primer. For aluminium or galvanised metal, use Juno Waterprim or Multi-support Primer after thorough surface cleaning. Previously painted surfaces should be cleaned, lightly sanded, and free of gloss. Do not use on cracked or excessively porous wood, and avoid application in high humidity or temperatures below 5°C. Do not use outdoors. Always follow proper environmental and safety procedures during use and disposal. Application Method Apply using brush, roller, or sprayer. Shake or stir thoroughly before use and do not thin. Apply in thin layers using long brushstrokes to aid drying. A minimum of two coats is recommended for full coverage and performance. Dry to the touch in 1 hour; recoat after 24 hours and within 8 days. For best results, environmental conditions should include a surface temperature at least 3°C above dew point and humidity below 80%. Avoid painting in rain or strong wind. Key Features Low odour and environmentally friendly Excellent opacity and coverage: 10–12 m²/L per coat Permanent whiteness with strong resistance to yellowing Safe for indoor use – certified to A+ indoor air quality and AgBB standards Important Limitations This product must not be applied on exterior wood, cracked timber, or surfaces subject to constant moisture or extreme temperatures. Not for floor use or immersion. Do not mix with other paints or exceed the recommended tinting ratio (3% max). Always perform adhesion tests on questionable surfaces. Always refer to the downloadable technical data sheet before starting any project to ensure compatibility and correct usage.
