Application Instructions For optimal results, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants. Sand wood surfaces to produce a suitable key, and degrease and sand existing painted surfaces for better adhesion. Apply directly to abraded GRP and follow with a topcoat of your choice. Limitations and Restrictions Metalcote undercoat is not suitable for application in temperatures below 5°C or above 25°C. Avoid using on surfaces that are exposed to excessive moisture or are prone to high humidity, as this can affect drying times and overall performance. Do not use on surfaces that are not thoroughly prepared or where a durable finish is critical without following recommended preparation steps. Recommended Topcoats For best results, we recommend following Metalcote Undercoat with a topcoat of Teamac Metalcote Enamel or another suitable white spirit-based paint.
