Zinsser Allcoat Exterior Satin Solvent-Based - Ultimate Performance All-Surface Paint Designed for long-term decoration. This low-maintenance, water-shedding coating is ideal for use on various exterior surfaces including wood, uPVC, galvanising, steel, aluminium, cladding, stucco, brick, stone, and cured concrete. For all paintable exterior surfaces, it is ideal for low temperature applications where a water based coating may not be suitable. Application Instructions Ensure surfaces are clean, sound, and free of dirt, dust, grease, wax, or loose paint. Remove any existing mould and mildew using a fungicidal wash. Treat timber at risk of decay or insect attack with a suitable preservative. For hard or glossy surfaces, abrade and degrease before painting. Fill all nail holes and gouges before application. Stir the paint well before using and apply in temperatures between 5°C and 32°C with less than 80% humidity. For airless spray, use a tip size of 0.13 - 0.017 at a pressure of 1800 – 2400 psi. Two coats are generally recommended, with an additional coat on high exposure areas like sills and fascia boards. For Composite Surfaces; Always ensure that the surface has been prepared sufficiently, Zinsser Universal Degreaser & Cleaner is ideal for this. As composite surfaces tend to have a wax like finish we would also advise lightly abrading the surface area.
