Outstanding Customer Service with a Smile
On March 2, 2025, I visited the Raymour & Flanigan Outlet in Manalapan, NJ, and was fortunate to be greeted by sales representative Maryjo Wangerien. From the moment I walked in, she provided exceptional customer service, making my furniture shopping experience smooth and enjoyable.
I knew I needed a sofa and a lift recliner, both electric, but I wasn’t sure which style or features would be best. Maryjo took the time to understand my needs and presented me with several options based on size, color, fabric texture, and pricing. She patiently explained the differences between various recliners and sofas, ensuring I had all the information to make the right decision.
Her knowledge, patience, and friendly demeanor made my purchase easy and stress-free. Thanks to her, shopping for furniture was a pleasure. I would highly recommend Maryjo to friends and family looking for a great shopping experience. The store itself has a large inventory with plenty of options, and I will definitely return when I need more furniture.

Glenn Heins is by far the best salesman…
Glenn Heins is by far the best salesman I have ever met. We have been looking to replace our living room set for several months now. We have been to several stores, including Raymour and Flanigans at different locations. When we walked into the store, he introduced himself and advised us he was available if we had any questions. He allowed us to browse the store and did not follow us around. He was not pushy like all the other salesmen we encountered. He answered all my questions about several different sofas. He was professional, courteous and patient. I also had my 7 year old with me and he was extremely pleasant to her as well. We left that day so I could measure to ensure the sofa and recliner would fit in our living room. We live a distance away and another store location is closer to us. The reason we returned to that location, nearly a week later, to purchase the sofa and recliner was solely due to Mr. Heins being an exceptional salesman. I have already recommended him to a friend who is looking for a love seat and we will definitely return as we are replacing our dining room set as well.
