Do not use !!!!!!!bought a 125 pit bike with loads of faults and then to be told by them I should have read the terms and conditions I’ve now got to take a brand news bike to a garage and pay for it myself to be repaired what a rip off

I purchased a mini moto for my son as a Christmas gift. I paid for extra storage to ensure a close to Christmas delivery, but they shipped way before...but that was only the beginning of the problems.

The quad didn't work, and so I returned it (at my own cost - which was fairly significant for an item such as this). I had no update for weeks and weeks despite chasing this. I eventually received a quad back after circa 6 weeks (and also had to pay for re-delivery owing to what they described as the problem - which turned out to be another lie!!) - and what i received back was not the quad I had returned!!....and nor did this one work either!!!

I again got in touch but all I received was the same lines of ''it works'' and ''we confirm the correct quad was sent back to you''. I had 3 evident points on how this was not the quad I originally returned - all of which Iain (allegedly an MD) dismissed without evidence.

They also stated that all repairs are carried out by an ''independent 3rd party'' - which upon checking the address I returned the product to - it was a company registered as Retail Imports Limited - the owners of RC-Hobbies! Not quite independent!!

These guys do not look after their clients, and feed lies - non more so than the drivel about quality on their website!

Thank you RC Hobbies and Iain Jonathan Kiy for selling me a useless piece of equipment and not resolving the problems - i only wished i had checked reviews beforehand - as 80% of customers cannot be wrong!!

AVOID IF YOU WANT A HASSLE FREE PURCHASE!!

I purchased highper mini dirt bike pro at Xmas for my son had a issue with the coil & the company sent a replacement coil out which worked perfect the bike is fully working and my son is happy thank you very much rc hobbie bike 👌

I purchased a Ride on Lamborghini Aventador for my Grandsons birthday from this company and had nothing but trouble with it.

Received a bag of fuel and an empty fuel container and a missing item phoned and they told me to email emailed and they don't reply.

Update phoned 15 times today before speaking to a guy apparently called Neil. He was extremely unhelpful and accused me of being trigger happy in writing a review of the currant service received. I asked repeatedly weather they would refund of replace the damaged/ missing items in which the only reply I got was that he would read the review and respond accordingly followed by we will never make you happy will we.

Update 2 still no email reply after my phone calls have advised them that there leaving me with very few options and that if they don't refund or replace the order in a timely manor I'll issue them with a ccj as they are in breach of my consumer rights. Yes I am the guy that will take you to court over a £20 order not because I need the money or the order particularly but purely out of principle as your customer service and the disrespectfully way you spoke to me on the phone has angered me massively. I DO NOT BACK DOWN AND I WILL NOT GO AWAY LOL.

Deffinatly do not order anything from this company! If anything doesn't go to plan they won't offer any help at all! THEY CANT EVEN SHIP SIMPLE ORDERS

The customer service from here is absolutely appalling. I bought a brand new quad for my son's birthday in January 2021 and it is faulty. After so many attempts to email and contact R.C hobbies reply is someone will be in touch. On first night fuel leaked everywhere and new part was sent however quad does not run. R.C hobbies said that was a clutch Jam however mechanic looked at it and not the case. R.C hobbies have done nothing to try and resolve this issue when Cleary there should be no fault with a brand new quad that has never been started. As soon as I've asked for replacement or refund I've had no contact back what so ever. They're happy with taking there customers money and giving out faulty products.

I bought a bowie rc brushless truck at a reasonable price, the truck is really fast for a electric rc, and the customer service was great, i had a problem with mine so gave them a email and sorted the problem out straight away, i would recommend this company to buy your rc cars and spares from

I bought an electric Land Rover for my son.

It turned up in white when I had ordered green and the bonnet.

I contacted them to ask what they intended to do about it and was told i would receive a £30 refund and a new bonnet.

I didnt receive either.

Two weeks later, the accelrator got stuck and, with my son in the car, the car careered into our fence.

I called them to ask what they intended to do about it to be grreted by "Neil", the face of their so-called customer service to demand a new car.

"What do you want me to do about it" was his response.

After further investigation, I found out that the company was run by an Iain Kye. We spoke and after a fractious conversation, he offered me a refund.

I was then informed by "customer services" that in order to facilitate the refund, the car would need top be boxed and attached to a pallet, totally impossible for a retail customer.

I am preparing legal action against these people and suggest that any else with issues does the same.

Bought a 125 cc quad off this company and I did have problems with it and I must say that I phoned the company and every time they were more than happy to help and sent me all the bits I needed to get the quad up and running these problems could have happened to anyone but it was the way the company dealt with it is what I'm so happy with so thank you

Absolutely terrible place.
I ordered an electric ride on for my sons 3rd birthday with delivery of 3-5 working days.. this time period came and went! 15 days later and I'm still waiting.
I've tried called and emailing numerous occasions and yet NOTHING!
Its safe to say I have a very disappointed 3 year old little boy, always quick enough to take the money though!
This place doesn't deserve the 1 star.. but I couldn't leave a review otherwise.
Disgraceful.

Do not buy from this place, absolute joke! Mini moto arrived damaged - they blamed the courier but the box was not damaged. They said they would send new parts to replace... still waiting 2 months later. Bike wouldn’t start they said it was a known issue regarding the petrol tap holes not aligning. Contacted again they said they would send a new petrol tab. Have chased by phone call now can’t get hold of them. Sent various emails, they did initially reply but now they aren’t. Will try to chargeback via credit card. I don’t know how they get away with it!!!

Terrible service. My sons 110 quad lasted 3 hours before the carburettor broke. Fuel issues have been a problem ever since and the after sales service is non existent.
I ordered a new carburettor which arrived - broken. Sent it back and have never received a new one. The air filter also broke off the because the rubber disintegrated for no reason, no replacement for that either.
Stay away from this company, I cannot emphasis this enough. You will receive a dodgy item and you won’t be able to get your money back.

I wish I had read these reviews before buying from this company. The quad arrived part assembled, without instructions and a complete disregard from customer services (if it can be called that).

After weeks of searching youtube clips on how to assemble the quad it is now finally assembled. Only to discover that there is a faulty valve in one of the tyres and having lost total faith in the customer service it doesn't seem worth complaining to them again.

It is unfortunate and quite easy fixes in creating a short youtube clip describing how to assemble the quad with some step by step instructions. I was even tempted to create one for the company had I not received such disappointing customer service.

The one star rating given is over generous.

DO NOT BUY bought a bike for my daughters birthday fuel issue they said it was the fuel tap as no fuel was coming out the bottom and would send me a replacement,haven’t sent me a replacement and now ignoring my calls and emails, I’m going to trading standards this is apourling ,these bikes and quads and equipment a lot of people buy for birthdays and Christmas for children and loved ones it’s wrong

Bought a battery powered dirt bike. Pictures look good. Bike however is as good as the customer service which is rubbish. Chain always falls off even though adjusted right. Panels were smashed when it arrived too. No replies to emails.

Couldn't rate any lower. Ordered a mini dirtbike uprated clutch version.
The bike could barely be started and ran for a total of 30 minutes which was apparently long enough for the uprated clutch to burn out.
Requested return or replacement as by law I was entitled within 30 days and they refuse. They want you the customer to strip the bike yourself and return the clutch which is not covered by their warranty. If they deem it manufacturing issues they may send a new clutch for YOU to fit. Then they ignore you.
They will not phone you or pass you to a complaints department however many times you ask.

I wouldn't bother even clicking the website we're do I start bought a 50 cc quad for my son at Xmas payed a extra 30 pound for it to be built and tested my son opens it it never started there was a fuel issue and broken seat very cheaply built monkey metal finally got a email with a list of things that could be wrong with it well i payed 30 pound extra so why would it have issues lol seriously if your after a quad pay that bit extra go for the lt 50 or apache ruined my son's Xmas and cost me 40 pound to send it back as I got my refund from PayPal so grateful for that as a few haven't had a refund what a experience and glad its all over update I did win my refund
