Rubbish of a company

Rubbish of a company. Have not been in touch for over 3 months since initial correspondence . Keep well clear as they promise they will get your money back for you but I’m afraid they are scammers !

Purposefully misleading and deceiving…

Purposefully misleading and deceiving people. I signed up with them and absolutely no where was there any information given or hinted to what's in their terms of service.

While you are signing up all you read is "no cost" "free" and other similar phrases. Nothing about them being able to take 50% of any fees recovered and more. I'm not going to get into it in detail, just go look at their unenforceable TOS. Some scary 💩. Lawsuit waiting to happen.

Just star very far away from these leeches.

I did all the work! Not Recoup!

I was rather surprised to receive a call from my bank stating that "I" requested a refund on bank charges, not Recoup, on my behalf. Apparently, Recoup does not put any of their information on the paperwork that they send to the bank, therefore, "I" took care of the situation when they called. They advise you not to talk to the bank because obviously you can do this yourself very easily... Yes, I received a refund, but all they did was send a letter to my bank as though it was from me, not Recoup. I will pay my commission because that is what I agreed to, but you can do this yourself. Recoup types a letter and mails it.... That is all!! Lesson bought, $135 to be exact. My advise, figure the fees up yourself, and send a letter. 25% is too steep when I did all the talking and negotiation over the phone when they called me, not Recoup. Oh and another thing, when they take that $135, it will overdraft my account if it comes out before Friday.... imagine that.
