My family, husband and I cannot thank red cube events enough for the support and guiding us throughout all our wedding events/changes due to covid etc.

We had a fantastic time at our reception party. Venue looked great, food was excellent and staff were brilliant. Everyone had a excellent time and are singing praises of our reception party. The team managed the event without missing out any details. Nothing finished on the tables as waiters were replenishing all dishes/drinks before it finished. They managed all suppliers needs and juggled everything for us, so we did not need to worry.

And I have to mention the phenomenal Dubbs, what a guy! Definitely can not thank you enough for your advice and guidance throughout. Felt like I was talking to a big bro, rather than an event planner. Thank you for everything.

We had an awful experience working with Dubbs in order to plan our wedding event. He acted unprofessionally and wrongly held a large sum of our money.

We met in late 2018 and booked our wedding/reception event for May 2020. We paid a 50% deposit of the total cost to secure the date. The pandemic meant this event couldn’t go ahead therefore we asked Dubbs what our options would be. He told us that the only option would be to postpone our event but in order to do so, he would need the remaining 50% due – he said that if we didn’t pay this, “the computer wouldn’t allow me to confirm your date” – and he had no control over this. We reluctantly agreed to pay the remaining amount and postponed the event date to early 2021.

Around the end of 2020, it was clear our event wouldn’t be able to go ahead in March 2021;the government had placed the country into a full lockdown until at least 31/3/21. We contacted Dubbs to enquire about getting our money back, as the contract would be frustrated and neither us nor redcube could fulfil it, and we did not want to postpone again. Dubbs made life very difficult for us then eventually agreed to call us to talk through our options;during the call, he stated that he had received no refund requests, that all his clients were willing to postpone and that we would need to wait a few more months until he would be in a position to offer us a breakdown of incurred costs to withdraw the contract.

Finally, after having to chase Dubbs for a breakdown of costs and asking for our refund, we received a spreadsheet of costs incurred in Feb 2021. This was a total of £2,350; we were aware that we would be liable for some costs but this was extortionate and unjustified. Here are some of the costs: -£207 for viewing the venue (this was carried out prior to signing the contract, therefore making it a non-recoverable cost). -£91.25 for a décor viewing meeting – we were clear with Dubbs at the onset of booking that we wanted an external décor company, which he agreed to but wanted us to meet his décor team on a non-obligatory basis; unfortunately, he then charged us for this in the incurred costs. -£50 for the phone call in March 2020 (see 2nd paragraph above), £56.25 for a phone call in late 2020 (see 3rd paragraph above). -£67.50 for “changing the date”, as well as £250 for “admin charge for processing refunds”. It is clearly stipulated in the CMA guidance that costs to administer a refund are not recoverable - see CMA website. We queried all these costs; he agreed that the £250 refund admin charge was an error on his part but also stated that he was charging this in 2020 when customers were asking for refunds – this was a contrast from the phone call we had with him, whereby he stated that all his clients were willing to postpone events and not cancel. Unfortunately, he refused to take away the other charges we contested.
He then mentioned that due to the fact that he had received several refund requests, he could not pay us back for a few months. He also stated that he was trying to be fair with all customers and give them all the same treatment. Unfortunately, this was not the case, as we knew a friend who also had their event cancelled due to the pandemic but he refunded all their money (without any incurred costs) and within a reasonable timeframe; showing that he did not have the same policy for all. Dubbs was unhappy with emails I sent to him asking for the refund sooner/challenging his charges and he stated that then only respond to emails from my wife so we then composed emails from her account. My wife eventually called him (important to record the phone calls) and when we mentioned that we would consider legal action in order to recover our money back sooner and contest the incurred charges, he mentioned he would liquidate his company and move all existing bookings under a new company name, which would allow him to continue working but also avoid refunding us. Unprofessional and illegal. We reluctantly agreed to paying the incurred costs of £2000 to avoid a long legal battle and the prospect of redcube liquidating/not paying us. Our money(less £2000) was returned to us in Aug21 (10 months after first asking) in separate instalments after chasing Dubbs many times.

We've advised close friends/family to not book with Redcube;they acted very unprofessionally, took long to respond to emails and devised unjustifiable/extortionate incurred costs.

With our eventual wedding venue, we agreed a sensible incurred cost in the contract if government restrictions forced cancellation so it would be worth doing this if one goes with redcube

The venue is unlike anything I have ever seen and the attention to detail from walking in shows that a lot of thought and consideration has gone in to it. The team are fantastic, they are a prime example of what customer service should be done like. At every point everyone is so friend and accomadating. They understand that wedding can be stressful so they attended to our every needs and requirements to make it easy and streamlined. If you want to be looked after properly and have a day to remember, I strongly recomend anyone to pay them a visit and I myself will be looking to do other events in the same place.

I recently worked with Dubbs and his team to plan my wedding event and can only commend them on how professional and helpful they have been during the whole process. From the planning stages to the actual day itself, Dubbs and his team have been very responsive, engaging and proactive with making my big day a success. Any issues we had along the way were dealt with amicably and Dubbs works hard to ensure he is fair in his conduct. I can not fault their service and would recommend their services for any event as their professional outlook helps make the event a success with very little hassle

The red cube team and Dubbs in particular were absolutely amazing. The service we received was on point from day 1! The meetings we had with Dubbs were so helpful and he really made us feel at ease - his suggestions were great and throughout the process there was absolutely no pressure. We thoroughly enjoyed our wedding day, there was no stress - the day just flowed so well, he also spoke with the DJ and juggled things around which worked well. Thank you so much for all your support and guidance - you made our day so special and above all we were ahead of schedule from the Gurdwara through to the reception at The Pavillion. We would highly recommend Red cube events for an extra special service and lovely supportive team. Thank you all ever so much.

Dubbs and the team at Stockley Park were top notch. From the pre event planning all the way through to incredibly professional care and attention they gave to the smallest details, from accommodating additional seats, set ups and overall guest experience - top draw. The mocktails were an amazing touch, we loved the attention to the food and timings of the service and the calm, capable deameanor of the event team, it was smoother then melted butter. Would recommend them to anyone looking to organise a memorable occasion

End of July this year I had my daughters wedding, the event was managed by Red Cube and I must say everything went so well. I have had very positive feedback from my friends and family. If you don’t want the stress and want a smooth event with delicious food then I would strongly recommend these professionals who are true to their word. They certainly delivered on the day.Plenty parking, scenic and perfectly located.

A huge thank you to Dubbs and the RedCube team. Highly recommend them. Operationally fantastic and made our wedding day stress free and fun. Everything was done just as requested and created a truly unique and memorable day. Little add-on's also went a long way.

Only reason for not 5 stars was we felt there were some communication issues in the early days of booking - but other than that we had no complaints. They are open to suggestions and flexible to your requirements. Food is unbelievable and staff very attentive. Their other suppliers such as DJ were also superb and very happy with the whole day, one will never forget.

Great service, great team work, help and support from Dubbs from the start and a great relationship built. Event planning was very good and will definitely recommend Red Cube for any event or occasion.
