Zero respect

Zero respect. Turned up to Aberdeen Travelodge this morning at 8am with music blaring that could be heard from inside. Not professional at all

Terrible attitude and service

I've been there a few times and found that they are a good price for tyres. However, the last two times i have called them, they really didnt care at all about trying to sort out the issues. The first time is a long story but my wife tried to get a new tyre on a saturday morning and they basically fobbed her off as it seemed liek too much work. The second time I had two screws in my tyre when i came out of the gyle as I was about to go up north to a wedding, so i desperately needed to get the tyre changed (on a friday afternoon at 4:15). When i called they said that they shut at 5pm so they probably couldnt help, and dont think they had the tyre, but could do it first thing tomorrow (so if you dont have the tyre how are going to fit in first thing). i told them what happened and they werent interested but said they would check for tyres and ring back. They rang back 20 minutes later and said it was too late to fit it, even though i was 5 minutes away (by which time i had already spoken to Kwikfit and was getting it sorted).
They really dont care, so if you want to save £5 on a tyre go there, but if youre in a hurry or have any further issues then dont even talk to them as they seem to be wanting to drive the business in the dirt

After using Redpath Tyres for many…

After using Redpath Tyres for many years for my taxi with no problems. On 31/7/23 I had a new front nearside tyre fitted ( not the usual fitter!!) 3 weeks later my cab needed new brake pads fitted with my local garage. They called to say they couldn't get the f/n wheel off. Eventually it was found that two of the wheel studs had been fitted on the wrong thread. This would have been very apparent to the tyre fitter when fitting. This resulted in the cab needing a new front wheel hub at a cost of over £900 and 2 days off the road. After a few calls to the depot manager Dawn with me providing receipts and photo's she advised me to contact Mr. Redpath directly. Mr. Redpath has yet to reply to my emails. I do understand that there was a delay between the tyre being fitted and the new brake pads being fitted (3 wks) but how is anyone to know there's a problem until the next time the wheel has to come off?

Bad attitude

I went there on spec to see them and their neighbour. There was nowhere to park so i stopped on the single yellow line just before their very wide entrance.

An extremely angry middle aged, short, fat man with a woolly hat came out of Redoaths screaming at me, is that your car, get it moved, I said it’s only for a minute.

Still shouting he told me to get off HIS pavement. I said YOUR pavement ? He shouted yes, his pavement. Resisting the temptation to reply I turned my back on him, got into my vehicle and parked it on the other side.

Along comes a 40 tonne HGV delivering presumably to them and parks on the yellow line outside and opposite me. Reducing the roadway to less than ten feet in an industrial estate.

Redpath can stuff their tyres, my small fleet will now get shod at Kelso where they have manners!

Meanwhile the Police should visit them and remind them they have no authority on the pavement or road to directly take action against anyone. In this case someone who was going to be their customer!
