I would never stay in this place again first I booked with booking. Com and I picked wrong dates. I called booking. com to cancel with them and they said they send a request to the hotel. Now I call the hotel directly stating I would like to cancel and they tell me I can’t because I needed 24 hours when I did call booking 24 hours prior. So I went there before the date I booked to stay and while we waited for the room to be cleaned we saw roaches crawling in the cart the lady had in the garbage bags and of course she had the raid spray on the cart. Worst experience ever ans I will make sure that everyone knows of this place and how they work with people with cancellations and refunding money

Hi, my daughter and I stayed at the red roof inn in Charlottesville VA. I had looked up reviews on the Hotel and it really didn't help, so I decided to just take a chance and decide for myself and I'm so happy I did!! The place was amazing my room was beautiful it had everything we needed and more the workers was amazing and I love that the Hotel was in a good spot near everything...it a wonderful place to stay at, if I could have given them more stars I would have... Great job Red Roof Inn👍🏾

Let this be the LAST place to stay if you needed a hotel. Red Roof Inn in Chicago & Indiana has everything from bed bugs, to dirty and unsanitary bath tubs, to mold on the walls, to a holes in the bathroom doors, to dirty dresser drawers, to broken and rusted chairs. Unacceptable! 😠

Worst Inn ever! Vincennes Indiana. Security latch was broken. Dead bolt only worked if you lift the door to latch it. Bedspread was stained. Mold on side of sofa. Office chair should have been trashed. Just not a pleasant place to stay.

We just spent 3 days at the red roof inn at Somerset kentucky. The first day the police were there twice. Not sure why the first time but they took a woman with them. And then some people were playing their music very loud outside and being loud themselves. The police finally came around 11 at night and they got quiet. I did not feel safe walking from the office to our room. I had my husband walk with me. It looked like people lived in the hotel and had their room chairs sitting outside as lawn furniture? About 10 that night my husband went to the bathroom and peed and flushed the toilet. It went down but he didn't notice the handle was stuck so we were laying in bed and heard the water start to run on the floor. We cleaned it up with our towels that night. The next day I went to the front desk and told them. They handed me a plunger and a cup of drano!! Not sure if all of the rooms were supposed to have chairs but ours didn't. The door did not shut at the bottom so who knows what bugs came in. The shower faucet came unattached from the wall. And finally the day we were leaving we saw something in the woods right next to the parking lot and realized someone was living there. We stayed last year with no problems but we will not be staying again.

As a previous commenter shared. Do not book with franchisees. Columbia, MO. Little Rock, AR. Charged more than the quote. Said I was rude checking in with 2 dogs. 1 service animal, 1 pet. Also said red roof had my rudeness on file. Seems like bait and switch to me. Do I have a digital copy of the service animal letter yes. Did she ask to see it, no. There's more, but that's enough.

If I could give it no stars I would this place was disgusting sheets were dirty burn holes on the blankets in a non smoking room. Had bed bugs woke up with bites all over my body would’ve been better off sleeping in my car. This is about the one in bridgeton mo.

The prices are cheaper on any other website booking, Priceline Etc. Redroof.com is worthless I've been staying here for over a month Red Roof Inn is worthless

Comfy bed but, hard sheets. Shower and toilet were not clean. Lots for mini roaches all over the room, crawling everywhere. Air Conditioning did not circulate around the room. Lights above the bed didn’t work.

My husband and I checked in and paid for four nights on July 8th 2022 at Red Roof Inn in Lompoc, California. The room we got was sticky and dusty, the WIFI was incredibly poor, the TV remote was broke, the self-service laundry out of order, the guest in the next room had two quite loud dogs and the outdoor area was a smokers paradise which made it difficult to get fresh air when opening the door. On top of that, the plumbing didn't work. After taking a morning shower we left the room and when we came back in the evening the bathtub was still half full. An employee tried to fix it, but it resulted in sewage standing in the bathtub all night and leaving a sad smell.
I then went to reception and pointed out that this was not what we had paid for and that we wanted to check out and have a refund for the last two nights.

We were offered a refund at about 130 $, which meant that the first two nights been weekend had costed 314 $. We agreed to this and as proof of this agreement, we were handed a folio and explained that the refund would come from Hotwire/Expedia, and if it didn't happen, we should contact them.

Now we waited patiently, but 18 days later we contacted Hotwire. They returned and told us what we would not get a refund, because the hotel manager claimed that they never agree to give refunds.

So in addition to a crabby product, they gave us a worthless folio, denied us our refund and ended up calling us liars.

We tried to reach the hotel one last time, just to learn that the email on the folio didn’t exist.

This hotel being part of a chain, we contacted Guest Relation, they responded fast, apologized and offered us a free night of our own choice within the chain. But as we are living in Europe the offer is unfortunately of no value.

The customer service has been extraordinarily! The rooms are spacious and clean. I recommend this hotel, if you’re looking for a home away from home!

Made reservations for 2 nights at the Pigeon Forge location. Upon checkin we found very big brown spots on the sheets not sure what it was, dirt/grit under the sheets on the mattress protector, and bacon yes I said BACON in the bathroom. I went to the front office and Chance told me there were no clean rooms. I asked for a refund and was told to contact Booking.com. I did and they had to send in a request which was denied bc Chance says he offered me a clean room. I was never offered a clean room and was denied a refund. I’ve even contacted the general manager and told him to listen back to the cameras and he could know the truth. I was told the cameras didn’t have sound and there was nothing they could do. That mistakes happen.

BEWARE!!! Make sure your Red Roof is corporate and not a franchise. Red Roof corporate in most cases gets a 4 in most cases. At 209 Viking Way Martinsburg WV, a minus 5, if I could give them that. Most disgusting place I have ever stayed in. It is not a corporate Red Roof it is a franchise. If my husband didn't HAVE TO get some sleep, we would of left. He slept on a sheet we bring with us on top of the bed. Chips in the spackle on ceiling...in bathroom hole in the ceiling with wire and a plug? hanging out over the toilet. Bathroom was never cleaned large dirt pieces on tub floor and old soap still there. Brown stuff on the wall. In bedroom large stains on bed cover and sheet. More of the dirt??? in the bed. At least the bugs we 'saw' on the floor and squished on the wall were dead. I have pictures to back my complaint. When I get done here I will be contacting corporate office of Red Roof. DO NOT STAY AT ANY RED ROOF THAT IS NOT CORPORATE RUN!!!!

The room was terrible but the cockroaches I killed were a definite deal breaker , then they refused to refund my money or even to transfer me to a different red roof hotel. Worst hotel I've ever seen

Absolute worst place I have ever stayed. If it hadn’t been 1am after 14 hours of driving I wouldn’t have stayed at all. There were cops in the parking lot when we drove up, arresting someone. Many people outside walking around, clearly on drugs. Against my better judgement we checked in. On arrival to the room there was trash on the counters, makeup on the sink, goldfish on the floor, stains on the sheets and pillowcases, sticky stuff on the nightstand…. Must I go on. There was nothing good to say about this place. Didn’t even take a shower because i would’ve felt dirty laying on the urine scented sheets anyways. Would never, ever stay at a red roof inn again. I’d sleep in a car in the Walmart parking lot before doing this again. This place deserves negative stars.

Do not stay here. The room smells the mildew. I itched the entire night while there . There is no breakfast. The sheets and blankets were filthy. Disappointed

Can’t give a rating less than 1 star unfortunately. Check process—waited 15 minutes because they weren’t ready for us. Stated they needed to go over rooms first. Then computers were real slow along with the check in process in general. Tv had to be fixed. We brought our dog, which I told them when we checked in, no policies gone over. We left our dog in the room to go get food. Gone 15 minutes. People next door claimed we were gone over an hour and our dog was alone. Supposedly their policy was you can’t leave the dog alone in the room. That was never told to us of course. We have to leave our food and go back and get the dog. I feel someone was in our room. Next morning we are loading the car and come back because we forgot something, had not even checked out yet, and they were already in our room starting to clean it. Remember we had NOT turned in our key yet. We were suppose to have until 11 am. We will never return to this location or recommend anyone go to the Winchester location.they won’t honor aarp either even though it’s on their website they accept aarp.

We came in on 5/14/22 to the red roof inn located in Ross township.Ross township is a nicer area with a lot of places for eating and shopping nearby.They have a sign out front saying smoke free area but as soon as you walk into the elevator all you smell is smoke.the carpet they had down leading to our room was covered in dirt and other weird stains on it.In the bathroom they had only gaven us 1 towel and no washcloths.I call the front desk around 10pm and asked if someone could bring us any washcloths or towels up,the guy said they are drying now and will bring them up shortly.Two hours later and nothing,so I told my wife let’s just go to bed and I will get them in the morning for us to take a shower.I ask the guy in the morning if I can get two washcloths and at least two towels. He told me I needed to bring my dirty ones down and he would give me new ones, I laughed and said “dirty ones” they gave us one towel,as he was walking away I can hear him mumbling profanity about me.It’s a ashame we had a great experience at a red roof inn in Robinson township and didn’t think twice about the red roof inn in Ross township.We will not be coming back and spreading word to all friends and family to rent somewhere else

We stayed in the Red Roof Inn, Ocala Fl 4/2/22 in room 329. Right off the bat, the clerk at the desk acted as though it was a big imposition to check us in and get our room key for us. The room smelled like there was fruit that had gone bad and the air conditioner was very musty. The wall switch/outlet was coming out of the wall, the bathroom fan was so noisy you couldn't turn it on if someone was sleeping, it would wake them up. The shower clearly had not been cleaned as the previous guest soap was still in the shower. There was a very bright light outside of the room so the light was bleeding in on the top, bottom and sides of the curtain and there was no way to block out the light. In the morning, when we went to get a copy of our bill before leaving, that clerk also had an attitude that they were really too busy for this but they could maybe deign to get our bill. If it would not have been late and we were exhausted, we would have found a different hotel. We learned our lesson with Red Roof inn. In fact, the next day, we went 9 miles out of our way to stay at a Hamilton Inn. They know how to provide service!
