Very quick repair.

Left message at 12:30. Got a call back 12:45. Engineer called round shortly after. Fan sourced and replaced in the C/H boiler by 3pm. Job professionally done. All is well.
Being local probably helped, but none the less, it was excellent service.

first class service

called Ress and Brookman when my outside tap/pipes burst and I had literally a pond on my patio, they came to my rescue very quickly and sorted my problem, nothing being too much trouble. Would recommend them, fast reliable local company.

We have used Rees and Brookman for…

We have used Rees and Brookman for years now. We have never had any issues with them - the engineers are always prompt and super helpful. They often go above and beyond to help out. The office staff are polite and friendly and they always try to get someone out as fast as possible. Cannot recommend them highly enough

My boiler was working completly fine…

My boiler was working completly fine prior to calling Rees & Brookman to do an annual service. The following day after the service the radiators failed to heat up properly due to low pressure.They came the following day and said i needed a new pressure gauge which was I was charged £132.32 on top of a service of £102 .
I ask Ian to check every thing was working fine he refused and said he was busy and had to go.
The following days i noticed i had no hot water i called out British Gas they said ! who the hell has been working on this boiler no wonder you've got no hot water the engineers falled to re open and pointed to a valve at the back of the boiler as a result i immediatly had hot water.
When i told the British Gas engineer who i had used they said this is not the first time we've heard about this company.
i am not telling people to use or not use this company the decision is yours.
The manager ask me to contact him which i did by email about my concerns i still to this day have never had a response.

RECOMMENDED EXPENSIVE AND UNNECESSARY WORK!

Our boiler broke down just before Christmas so as we have used Rees and Brookman in High Wycombe for years my wife called them out. The Rees and Brookman engineer came out quickly but after extensive investigation he told my wife there was so much wrong with our boiler that we need to replace it. She asked for an estimate and Rees and Brookman gave my wife a written quote for £3500 but said that it could not be replaced sometime into the New Year as they did not have enough engineers capable of fitting boilers

Faced with a Christmas without heating / hot water and very surprised that our Worcester boiler, which we chose for their reliability and longevity, could have so much wrong after only 10 years use that it needed replacing completely, I organised a second quote from a plumber out of our area.

This second plumber quickly identified that the pump had simply broken, quoted me £240 and was able to fit it the day after we booked it in. When we told him about our experience with Rees and Brookman he expressed serious concern over their abilities as plumbers. He said that this is a not uncommon part to fail, easy to identify and very easy to replace. His conclusion was that either Rees and Brookman were unable to diagnose faults in this popular boiler range OR that they were trying to deceive us and unnecessarily replace our perfectly serviceable boiler at significant expense to us!

Before he left the plumber asked if it was OK for him to take a copy of the Rees and Brookman written quote. He also took details of the boiler and told us he was going to report Rees and Brookman to Worcester and the regulatory body for misconduct. He feels plumbers such as Rees and Brookman give plumbing a bad name and reporting / reviewing their behaviour is the only way to clean up the industry.

This is our honest and unbiased review of our experience with Rees and Brookman, adhering to the facts and without any predudice.
