Scammers- These guys have cost me over £10k which I will outline below. They are unprofessional, poor at communication and I think are probably scammers.
Initially they seemed to be keen on taking on the property to let to NHS staff which then was 'maybe' airbnb (looking back now they were unwilling to provide references of their supposed 'mentors' and I foolishly didnt take a holding deposit as they seemed so genuine- very-expensive lesson learnt). They took 5 weeks back and forthing with 'changes to the contract' and when I finally had enough of this they said they would only be happy to pay £600 less per month a 25% reduction.
I was working away and as it had been so long (paying utilities etc and losses due to being empty) I agreed to negotiate a partial discount. They then were unbelievably poor with their communiction- communicating just enough to be present but not actually commit. The weeks of this whole process has cost me so much money, been so stressful and I dont believe they could care less they are just hankering to force a good deal- honestly its been horrible and this was on the back of having to redo the whole house after some nightmare tenants. Shame on you guys I really believed in you and doing this to people is not right.
