Team has committed for sending most of the promotions\ Gift vouchers 30 days after a successful transition. However, team did not share any promotional gift cards since then.

A company with inconsistent policies and a buggy website. Not FIT to transact in the UK with their low-standard service/policies. Their website has different policies while customer service write/say different things. They pretend to be a fast/easy money transfer website but in fact their verification process has a lot of loopholes. ID verification process on website is different to what they say on email. The people doing ID verification and phone are not in the UK and do not have any knowledge of IDs, life or processes in the UK. I wonder why our personal documents are checked an received outside of the UK. After registering and entering personal details on their website, they immediately allowed me to make a transfer without completing the verification and then held my money for 3 days and later cancelled the transaction when I challenged them. The money never received the recipient and I ended up wasting my 3-4 days in anticipation that the transfer will happen.
Their money transfer process is very ODD when using net banking. Every time I wanted to make a remittance, I have to login twice to net banking. First time, the mediator company asks to give access to my bank account and as per my bank's text message, this access is "UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE"! After giving access, the mediator company then ass to login again and this time to actually make the transfer from my uk bank account. The two-time login is unnecessary and specially giving access to a third party to see balance "until further notice" sounds really INSECURE, scary and unnecessary.
Overall, Remit2India has a buggy website that doesn't have the correct policies in place, they have a very non-standard way of verification and the worst part is how they take money from your account - very insecure, very non-standard and not at all trustworthy. They should really be reported to FCA.

I am a returning customer and wonder if remit2india is closed? I am not able to login and website says my account is locked. There is no way contacting them to unlock the account. The US phone number does not even ring.

One of the worst money transfer website. They seem very dubious as they request an inordinate amount of information and still fail money transfers from US to India. I have been able to successfully transfer money using Xoom, western union and transfer wise without any issues/ hassle. But this remit2india website seems to be fake and have failed to transfer money during two attempts despite having valid information & proofs (3 bank statements, checking account statement and salary information). Stay away from this website. They could be scamming people!

Its so funny that they have started the service from 33 states of USA but not included New York even though the cases of COVID gone down long back with no real time updates or reasons for not starting the service from New York.

It is very difficult to make a transaction. Their website ask for certain documents for verification but they actually need something else. There is a lot of noise in way they handle communication and almost impossible to know whether the transaction will happen on not after all the effort you put.

Cheater company. It will promised to pay higher rate but you get lower rate later on

I’m glad that I didn’t transfer complete big amount in one go and gone with a small amount. I’ve close the account with cheating companies

Very bad service.. they cheat people by saying offer/promotions and they never fulfill it. beware.. don't trust them

Update: 06/13/2020 - I got an email again saying that it cannot be honored (with an excuse of operational challenges). Like I said in the beginning, please do not make offer promotions that cannot be honored.

I used this service and they never honor the gift vouchers that they promise. If they cannot honor the promise, it would be better that they do not promote. When I booked the transaction, I was told that I will get the code after a month. When I called them after a month they told that it is being worked upon. When I tried to contact after 2 months after the initial transaction, I was told that they already sent me an email and I did not redeem it (note: I did not get the email yet) and the certificate is expired. If the company is genuine(which I doubt now), they will honor the promotion and send the voucher. Hope the senior management knows what their team is doing.

Most of the world is working form home. what is your company excuse to not working form home (IT work) ... why stopped entire business and create more troubles for long term existing customers & their respective families?

Unreliable service - Promotion Offers are not respected.
I did not get a promotional/advertised and promised Amazon gift card for the transaction I made through Remit2india. All promotions on this transfer service are pure click baits.
I transferred more than $5000 from my account in Jan after talking to the customer care team but have not received any GIFT voucher since then. Now it seems they are closed and not responding. Please help.

Not working from USA to INDIA transfer since 2 months.
It is been 2 months and there is no service provided for the transfers, All the other remittance are working without any issue. They need to find a way to do the transfers.How someone can trust this service which is incapable, inefficient, incompetent of doing business for such a long period and there is no ETA on when it will resume.

I did not get voucher for GIFT350 coupon code from Remit2india.
I transferred money $5000 from my account in December with code GIFT350 after talking to customer care team
But I did not get any GIFT voucher ?

Even I had sent complaint on same

In same way, My Wife also did no get voucher as he also transferred $5000 in Dec, however she was in need of only $2000, but as GIFT350 was applicable from $5000

please help to resolve

Worst service with people full of liars. They said to send me gift card on sending money more then 15k, which i did in December 19 and then they never turned up sending gift card to which when i approached to them asking about my gift card they are now saying that we sent it before and now we can’t issue new one.
Let me tell you remit2india, I don’t care of your gift card but stop fulling people out here.

I have received promotion email that if i transfer $5k or more, i will get $50 gift voucher in the month of December 2019, i have done the transaction and after few days contacted customer support, they said "be patience, you will receive the gift card after 45 days", i have waited 2 months and then contacted customer support team again, they are saying that code is sent you, but you haven't clicked the link so it got expired. I sent them my inbox screenshot as a proof saying that i haven't received it, but they are not believing, Not sure if it is the trick to get the transactions.
This is the second time i am facing this issue with Remit2India.

I did my transfer on March 12 th rate of $47.05, then they closed that transction on March 16 th. Even I was not received my refund till now. One of the worst service. My parents is waiting that money . So many times I try to contact these guys . But no reply. I am very disappointed these services. Please send my $ 4k asap. So that I will send money to my parents

I did transfer of 20K USD on 13th March. I did transfer high amount for my parents emergency use. Remit2India did withdraw amount from my US account and Remit2India was suppose to transfer the INR in my India. But till 23rd March my parents didn't get money. I was trying to contact them but no response at all. calls not getting answered, mail not getting replied even peoples direct contact not getting replied. It's seriously pathetic customer support. Today 24th March i have received automated mail that my transaction is closed. But i have still not received refund in my US account. I have asked them to find when will i be getting the refund in my account but as usual no reply from Remit2India.
If Remit2India is reading this message then please understand my disappointment and update me when will i get my refund in my US account so that i can send it to my parents ASAP with some other mechanism. RTRN: 2659508011

I have transferred the amount to my parent account in India.
For two days, I didn't receive any update regarding the transaction. When I called customer support, I was Informed to provide the address proof. But in my account, it's showing that no documents. Spoke with Xavier, Devika Chitnis but they don't have any information or details on how to upload the details on their website.

I spoke with Mr, Prasun Banerjee and confirmed me that "We are waiting for the clear receipt of the amount; your transaction will be processed post receipt of the same. The status of your transaction will be updated on the Track Transaction".

Two days after I received a mail about the cancellation of the transaction. I have tried them to contact through the phone but no more communication on the phone. I received an email to refund my money but didn't mention any explanation.

Please stay way. This organisation doesn't have any proper system to address the customer complaints and pathetic customer support team.

It was horrible experience. Definitely not recommend their service. I have transferred big amount to India with rate of 48.32 INR Guaranteed rate. It was supposed to delivered by 14th of march. I been asked couple of time to provide documents and i have provided all documents and offer to more if they require. In between rate was turning down due to corona effect. But i was sure as i have transferred through Remmit2India with Guarantee rates. On 18th of March Morning, i received an email to upload more documents and afternoon i got one more mail to cancellation of transaction. I have tried them to contact through the phone but no more communication on the phone. I received email to refund my money but didn't mention the any explanation. Now the price gone down. I am thinking to take legal action against them.

Disappointed. I had two transactions AUD to INR on the 14th March 2019 and both of them all of a sudden today (19th March) are saying “Transaction Closed”. The rate i was getting then was 45.93 which has dropped to almost 43.00 now. When they are saying “Operational Challenges” it seems like the dropped rate every day of the AUD is the real reason. This money was needed urgently in India. Haven’t even received the refund yet! No Customer Care. No one picks the phone. Worst service.
