We chose this remote because it was so much cheaper than the branded one for our TV. I was a bit worried it might not work but it’s fine. It arrived really quickly too.

Humax RM-I03U Original Remote - 29/11/2025 - £23.99 + free p&p (Royal Mail, 48 hr tracked).
Bought to replace the original remote that came with a Humax DTR-T2000 which had lost most of the conductive layer on the back of the silicone keypad push-buttons making it a pain to operate.
This remote was advertised as a Humax original. At the date of purchase, an original replacement from Humax Direct was £29.90 + £4.90 p&p (Royal Mail, 1st class, untracked). Buying from the Remote Controls Shop (directly) represented a saving of £10.81.
I placed the order just before the 15.00 hrs order deadline on Thursday, 27th and it arrived on the morning of Saturday, 29th, so I was very pleased with the dispatch and delivery of the remote. The packaging was adequate - a polythene, padded mail bag with the remote inside another polythene bag so the remote was undamaged.
The package contained troubleshooting instructions and details of how to uniquely pair the remote with it's PVR, should more than one PVR be in the same room, (a feature I didn't know about), which I found very useful. The same instructions also contained return details and a pre-printed return label in case the buyer needed to return the remote for whatever reason.
The supplied remote was exactly the same in every way discernible (without dismantling) as the original. It looks, feels and functions just as a new original would so, despite wondering how it could be so much cheaper than the Humax Direct offering, I have no doubt that this is the real-deal.
For buyers who want to save another few quid, the Remote Controls Shop also offers a remote with almost the same functionality (no television control) but in a generic case.
Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase and experience, and would use (and recommend) the Remote Control Shop again.

I bought a "GENUINE PANASONIC ORIGINAL REMOTE" at about 2pm yesterday and RECEIVED it today about 9.30 am!! Why can't all companies achieve this? (Well done Royal Mail also).
Yes, I paid more than the substitutes offered on the" big river" website but all 3 I have had from them over the years have been rubbish so I treated myself. I record, edit out adverts and burn T.V. progs and documentaries etc.to DVD (for personal use only). Yes it is a lot of work but I can watch what I want, when I want, without interruptions!! MANY MANY thanks for being such a good company to deal with!

I ordered a remote that was ordered from manufacturer even sent on to me. When I received the remote it was damaged. When I contacted remote-controls-shop they apologised and immediately ordered a new remote and had this sent asap.

My purchase - a Panasonic DMR/TV remote control - was exactly as described and expected. Although not in stock with Remote Controls Shop, (website advised it may have to be ordered direct from Panasonic), it still arrived very quickly (three days, I think). Good updates via e-mail provided, so kept well informed. I’d have no hesitation in using Remote Controls Shop again or in recommending them. Excellent service!

I ordered the remote control for the old 15-year-old TV, because I misplaced the original one. But then I realised that the TV stopped working. I was able to return the unused remote control without any problems, and the full refund was issued very promptly. Thank you! ☺︎

Quick delivery

We have ordered two panasonic remote controls this week. The first one for the TV on Wednesday which arrived on Thursday. I was so pleased with this that I ordered a second for the Recorder on Friday which arrived on Saturday. I don't always write reviews and wasn't asked to do this but we were so impressed with the service that we genuinely felt we wanted to let other people know.
