Great Service

We have been dealing with Rentals United for a couple of years now, and whilst RU delivers ‘what is says on the tin, our contact Ana takes it to another level. Ana is a busy lady but somehow she manages to make it look like we are her only client. Without her continued guidance, patience, support and wisdom, our connection to the channels would not be as successful as it is. Ana is a real credit to RU. Keep up the excellent work Ana – you are a star.

We had a great experience working with Rentals United. The platform has been extremely helpful in connecting our villas to multiple channels and expanding our distribution efficiently. It significantly simplified the process of managing listings across different OTAs.

A special thank you to the team for their support especially DAMARIS CHALMERS, who helped to set up integrations with partners like Agoda, Trip.com, and other suppliers can be quite complex, but with her guidance, the process became much smoother.

What we appreciate most is the ability to centralize operations and save time while growing our visibility internationally. For property managers and villa owners, this is a very valuable tool.

Overall, we are very satisfied with Rentals United and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to scale their rental business and streamline channel management.

Great partnership and continuous improvement

We have been working with Rentals United for several years now, and our experience has improved year after year. The platform continues to evolve and bring useful integrations that support our growth and operations.

A special mention to our Account Manager, Ana Matos, who has been consistently supportive, responsive, and proactive in helping us navigate challenges and opportunities. Her availability and commitment make a real difference in our day-to-day collaboration.

Overall, it has been a very positive partnership and we look forward to continuing to grow together :)

STAY CLEAR AT ALL COST

Rentals United are by far the industry leaders in false advertising and false promises. None of their original promises were available to us and after several video calls with their support team nothing improved. Claims of priority platform partnership was a complete lie. They have no additional access to the platforms and we ended up doing everything ourselves despite paying RU over 500 euros for their onboarding service. We notified of our wish to off board over 10 months ago but they back track, make additional promises with stall tactics. I have just had to pay 5 months fees to be able to un block our account in order to transfer to lodgify. 274 euros per month for over a year for what was only a calendar sync, completely wasted. Use any other CM. Stay well clear of Rentals United.

I applied to this company after seeing…

I applied to this company after seeing a job post on LinkedIn and sent my CV. They quickly reached out and invited me for a first interview. It was very informal and relaxed, and it went well. I was then invited to a second interview with the sales team, which also went well. The next step was to prepare a case study on “Where I see myself in 3, 6, 9 months.” I presented it in a third interview, and again, the feedback was very positive. The whole process up to that point took around two weeks. A couple of days later, I received an email saying they enjoyed my presentation and wanted to move forward by taking references. I provided two references, but they said one couldn’t answer their questions due to company policy, so they asked me for a third one. I complied. At that point, they told me clearly that I had no more competition left and that the next step was the offer. That’s when everything started dragging. For an entire week, I heard nothing. Then, on a Tuesday, I received an email saying they couldn’t finalize the offer because “one of the managers was offline.” Another week of silence followed. Then, again on a Tuesday, I received another email saying: “I’ve received a green light from the managers and we’re officially moving forward to the offer stage. Let me confirm all the details as we’ve been waiting for a while (I want to make sure the offer I present to you is the best and reflects the conditions properly), and present them to you on a call?” After this, I waited one more week of silence. Finally, on a Monday, I received an email saying they had decided not to move forward with my application because they were “unsure about their 2026 budget.” This means they kept me hanging for almost two months, constantly saying I had the offer coming, while in reality they never intended to finalize it. They asked for multiple references, they had me prepare case studies, they reassured me I had no competition, and they strung me along with excuses about managers being “offline” and delays that were clearly not true. In my view, this was dishonest, unprofessional, and disrespectful to me as a candidate. I invested time, energy, and effort into their process preparing documents, providing references, making myself available and in return, I was misled and kept from focusing on other opportunities. My advice: If you apply to this company, do not pause your job search until you actually receive a signed offer letter. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise candidates to stay away. If this is how they treat people they’re trying to hire, I can only imagine how they treat their employees.

Unable to manage or cancel my booking…

Unable to manage or cancel my booking using their platform, the process is incredibly obtuse and complicated. The next step for me is to get my credit card company involved in the dispute. What should be a simple process has become unecessarily complicated.

Please note that Rentals United is a channel manager technology provider — we do not manage bookings or guest reservations directly. If you made a booking, it was likely through one of our partner platforms (such as Airbnb, Booking.com, or another OTA), or with the property manager directly.

To resolve your issue quickly, we recommend reaching out to the booking platform or property manager you used at the time of reservation. They will be able to help with cancellations, changes, or payment-related questions.

Outstanding techical support

We needed to connect a new customer to a number of OTA sales channels. Damaris managed several online sessions with participants in London, Lahore and Manilla with total professionalism and patience. Her calm and confident demeanour ensured these sessions were extremely well managed and achieved everything that was needed with minimum fuss.
