I ordered a refurbished iPad Pro 12.9…
I ordered a refurbished iPad Pro 12.9 screen from Repair Universe. It arrived on October 17 and was clearly defective on first power up: bright blotch, dark spots, unusable. I opened an RMA and sent it back on October 29 with tracking that shows they received it.
Once they had the part, they refused to refund or replace it, claiming “liquid damage,” even though the screen was never exposed to liquid and the defect was visible immediately. They also never sent the defective part back to me, so I ended up with no part and no refund and had to open a PayPal dispute just to try to get my money back.
Based on my experience, this is not a company that stands behind its products or its “testing.” If you are considering ordering from Repair Universe, think twice before you risk your device and your money.
Bad iPad Battery - ZERO Customer Support
Ordered an iPad battery, they are very thin to fit in the case. The battery they sent had some kind of jumper wires going between the cells of the batter and from the front to backside, making it impossible to fit in the case. Clearly a defective battery that they were using wires to connect the cells. Repairs Universe did not answer emails or return phone calls that go to a voice mail. I'm disputing the charges.

Im coming back years later after my order to finally write a review. I wanted to let it go and just move on after I had my bad experience but seeing their website pop up when im searching for parts just erks me. At the time I order a Google pixel screen from then everything seem to check out great to begin with. Shipping time packaging pricing and first look of the part. During testing time of the screen ( before the actually installation process) The 1st run did great but after the 2nd test there was a very tiny dot dead pixel that didn't bother as much at first. The dot got progressively worse during each restart and I decided to contact them. The made it seem like they were going to honor their warranty and refund policy so I sent the item back. I've done repairs for over 6 years now so I knew it wasn't on me. When they received it they kept the item and said the damage was caused by me and that I voided their policy. No refund , No item returned to me and the just dusted me off. I lost A client that day because of this but it wasnt about that. Honor your POLICIES! or QUIT LYING ON YOUR WEBSITE!!!!

Worst customer service
Ordered a replacement screen for my iPhone 15 pro max, it came broken when trying to get a replacement they tell me to return the broken product and stop replying when I tell them I’m just looking for a replacement not a refund they won’t actually help me at all and want me to pay shipping for the return and won’t even discuss a replacement. Definitely do not order from this site. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen.

Not sure why there are negative reviews for this company. I ordered a wi-fi / bluetooth component for my Xbox One X, item was affordable (even more affordable than Chinese competitors!). Item arrived super quick and was well packaged. I will be shopping here FIRST for my repair needs in the future...keep up the great work!

I ordered an iPhone 8 front camera replacement. I changed my mind about it so I tried to cancel the order but they said it was shipped out already. It had been 2 hours since I placed the order. I waited until it arrived so I could return it. Their policy says you have to fill out a return authorization form in able to return the item. I emailed them for the form. After 4 days they finally sent it to me. I thought they would provide me with a return label but no you have to pay for shipping yourself. The cost of shipping the item back would be more than what I paid for the item and more than what they would even refund me because they also keep a percentage of what you paid also minus the cost you paid for shipping. So returning the item would actually be more of a lost. Shaking my head🤦🏽♀️

I ordered a screen replacement for my pixel and a replacement kit, when package arrived it was the wrong one screen and there was NO kit. I didn't even take the screen out of its package as it was obviously too small. When I returned it they refused to refund me sending some super super close up picture saying it had been damaged which is not true because it hadn't left the package and then had the audacity to say that they checked and that the weight of the package sent showed they sent the replacement kit. They basically stole my money and lied. A dishonest non trustworthy business.
Go with ifixit instead a much much better choice than this company.

Terrible Customer Service
While the prices are low, the customer service is terrible. My package with my SIM card tray never arrived and they were completely unhelpful. Customer service just told me to make a claim with route as I insured my package that way. However, the reply was Hang tight, your package is on its way. Looks like this item is ineligible to file until 11/01/2023.. My phone is not usable without a working SIM card tray. I ordered overnight shipping so I would have a phone right away. It is true that with Route insurance I was refunded my money, but I had to wait a week.
