I saw Ms. Pacey for frequent urination. She said there was nothing wrong with me except anxiety and menopausal things and suggested oestrogen. What she failed to look for was other causes. I had a very large fibroid resting on my bladder as it turns out. Her suggestion to take oestrogen had very detrimental effects as it further grew the fibroid very rapidly which resulted in an acute situation. Practioners should be mindful of things like fibroids which in my case was causing the entire issue- how could she have done both internal and external exams and failed to miss a melon-sized fibroid, which was accounting for the symptoms? I would have thought an expert in pelvic health would have had some idea about things like this.
