Amazing range of products fast shipping

Chicks came the next day, right on time.

Locusts and crickets were good , unfortunately most of the silkworms were dead and rest died in a couple of days ,only got 2 worms out of 2 packets, no food in packs for them. Used reptile centre before and will again but not for silkworms. Well packaged and fast delivery though.

Well packaged Shame all dry ice had evaporated and mice started to defrost, but that could be on the post not the company as was 24 hour service

Good range of products to choose from. It was all well packed. The crickets were delivered in excellent condition, very active and our frogs are loving them.

So it was my fist time making a purchase that wasn’t live feed. I purchased live plants which were amazing and in perfect condition. I also purchased a holding carrier for when I have to do maintenance. Some natural wood, F10 and a moss dome. Before I made a purchase I couldn’t see an item and the response was great and fast again! All products perfect. Delivery perfect. Customer service perfect. Can’t fault at all!

I visited the Towster store to grab supplies for my new juvenile bearded dragon setup. Although I've owned reptiles for over a decade, I've never had a bearded dragon so was happy to receive help from a colleague who I informed of my requirements etc. I was informed everything is picked was wrong, and he picked out a hoard of items which I purchased.
After arriving home and setting up, nothing he suggested was correct for the setup I had, with temperatures FAR exceeding a safe range. £200+ of equipment now had to be returned to store and changed for what I had picked originally.
I returned to the weadon road store to return the items, with receipt the next day, this was a much closer store for me and the person who had sold to me the day previously was now at this store. When I told him the issue he responded with "yes this is what we'd typically advise for a full adult setup". He knew that wasn't what I needed so why was it ever advised to me? If I had no previous reptile care knowledge it could have ended very quickly and very badly for the juvenile.
When I asked to return the items I was told that because it's alot of money I had to travel another 10 miles to their other store, supposedly because they didn't want to take the monetary loss?
After returning my items to the Toaster store I was met with extreme resistance and staff making comments saying that they won't be selling any animals to me. Which is fine? That's not why I was there?
My overall experience in store, although initially great and helpful has left me annoyed, out of pocket and without the items I need. Most important it's given me the impression the staff are rude and aren't trained well enough in animal care and only have very generic knowledge, and may be advertising the wrong things, potentially causing harm to your pets.
