We booked a mon-friday at the woburn parc .had a really good night until the Tuesday when 2 teenagers under 21 arrived next door.
They was drinking and playing bass music day and night. I complained number of times and knocked on there door just to be ignored.
I went to the customer service desk on the Wednesday and had to move accommodation due to this.
So we enjoyed out last 2 nights on the Complex, couldn't fault any of the staff attal.

Overpriced and not worth the money.

Overpriced and not worth the money.
Lots of facilities and food outlets, but all overpriced and poorly run.
The Sport's bar was good, but the Indian takeaway was atrocious. Only half our online order arrived and that was overpriced. I think there's profiteering going on and exploitation of customers.
Entitled cyclists everywhere, who show little if any consideration for walkers on footpaths. A disappointment.
Visited before, but will not be visiting again.

Not a dog friendly resort

Not usually one to complain, although the irony of the Center Parcs synonymous being a "special time together" is commical as it is completely forgotten when it comes to our beloved four legged friends.

I don't know about you, but we went to CP with the idea that our dog would be able to access most areas, with the understanding that not everywhere would our dog be allowed, but advertising it as a dog friendly resort would imply that surely there is more than 1 place your dog is allowed, right? Wrong.

They do provide a very small "run area" which is a boxed in small area of wood chippings- which is okay if you have a small dog, alternatively just be prepared to walk your dog around the complex a lot- which is ofcourse okay, so long as the weather holds out. But any further dog access is denied.. unless you have gone away for a nice family trip to leave your dog in the room the entire trip, then this is the trip for you.. however, if you are like us and had planned to make your dog part of your UK vacation- I'd suggest saving your money and accessing other locations in the UK that are a lot more dog friendly, otherwise like us, you'll be forced to leave early as its not fair on your dog.

I'd like to give more positive feedback on the trip, but admittedly we didn't get to see much of the resort or inside any restaurants etc as you'll have probably worked out by now- yep, our dog was not allowed into any areas so we simply kept to the four walls of our accommodation and walked a lot without being able to experience any part of what CP has to offer at all.

We ended up leaving half way and spending further expenses to visit another UK resort to which we could enjoy breakfasts, lunches, dinners and access all areas with our dog also.. so look elsewhere as it is possible to enjoy your trip away in the UK with your dog and not spend CP prices for no reason.

Such a shame

Such a shame, it has so much potential because they are lovely parks. Just hope and pray that no problems arise, because if they do you can count on really poor customer service. They won’t do anything to help you and they really don’t care about their customers.

Disappointing for the price you pay

We have been going to center parcs for years but was extremely disappointed this trip. The lodges around us was being renovated which is fine except the builder/delivery vans were parked in front of our lodge for the week. The mud was all churned up around our lodge and after it rained it made our path muddy and slippery. My friend ended up falling over and bruising her knees. It was like living in a building site. The lodge even though recently renovated had a few issues. Ants coming in through skirting boards, front door latch kept coming off and bathroom door handle cover fell off.
The rain didn’t help as had a constant dripping noise from the guttering so didn’t sleep for a few nights.
There were 2 toilets out of order in the ladies in the swimming area so always had to queue. Even a toilet in the sports plaza was out of order. They could also do with updating the toilets in the pool area. A bit smelly and tired.
The Wessex way was under maintenance. Considering our visit was in Easter holidays then why do renovations then?! Either shut the area off or do it when quieter.
All the restaurants add a 7.5% service charge on and considering a pint is already about £7 then that’s a bit excessive. Embarrassing to ask to get it removed all the time.
Very disappointing trip this year. Not sure we will be going next year.

Staff were completely amazing

Staff were completely amazing. Pool staff, restaurant staff, bar staff and activity staff were so good at their job. Cleanliness of lodges were not the greatest. Had to clean bin as it had stuff!! in it that was stinking. Oven not cleaned properly. Internet was poor considering we paid for executive lodge. Ordered Chinese takeaway which was delivered to lodge. Chicken curry was bland with no sauce. Did not resemble traditional Chinese chicken curry, all peas and mushrooms. Chicken and cashew nut was burned and tasted awful. Noodles completely tasteless.
Overall staff great, facilities pricey, lodges not completely the cleanest. Takeaway food poor

We have just returned from our 3 day…

We have just returned from our 3 day break. Villa beds were like sleeping in a crisp packet and very uncomfortable. Ordered a hamper but asked for meat products to be taken out as no vegetarian hamper available. This didn’t happen.
Waited 40 mins for food at Hucks. Very slow service. The Indian restaurant was amazing and we had the best curry that night.

Sherwoods Cove at the pool was amazing. Private cabana and use of a private whirlpool. Would have loved lockers and a changing room. Lisa the host was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and she was super friendly.
Only thing that puts you off is a lifeguard has to watch the whirlpool. On the second night the lifeguard was just staring at us biting his nails and spitting them in the pool. 🤢. Don’t think there is a necessity to be that close. No privacy.
Went to the spa and the lifeguard based herself outside the area.

This is an expensive holiday. I have been going for over 20 years but some of the staff weren’t very helpful. Guest services not very helpful. Washing bags were left in our villa until Saturday when I told guest services.

The sports bar needs changing. Like a cattle market. No cash because of covid?? No information files in your villa?? Yet we swim in the pools/mix together and touch everything?? No hand sanitisers?? Prices up but you get a lot less.

Beware, Spa is closed long term and they don't tell you

Beware, Aqua Sana Spa at Elveden is closed for 8 months and they are not letting customers know, still advertising it as open and refusing to offer compensation. Their phonelines invite you to book and tell you it is open at all Villages. No banner on the homepage to let you know of the closure. If you complain you are told it is your fault but surely the responsibility lies with Center Parcs to let their customers know that a major part of the Center Parcs experience is closed long term. I feel that I have been misled and lied to. Appalling customer services and long phone queues and lack of empathy and concern if you complain, only interested in taking customers hard earned money.

Center Parcs are misleading their cusomers

We have visited Center Parcs many times over last thirty years but unlikely to do so in future. Once they had our money we were told that the Aqua Sauna at Elveden Forest is closed for much of this year. I understand that, as a customer, I may have to put up with facilities being taken out of service at short notice for unexpected repairs. However, this is a major project that they must have been planning for months (if not years) and is going to last for much of 2023. We contacted Customer Care who were unhelpful and argumentative. They tried to hide behind small print and suggested it was our job to discover such issues. Center Parc website is still showing pictures of Aqua Sauna at Elveden as if it is open for business as usual. To rub salt into the wound, when you are left waiting to talk to Customer Care, you are subjected to a recorded message selling you the benefits of the Aqua Sauna. Surely if they had any interest in treating their customers fairly they could place a clear warning of closure of the Aqua Sauna at Elveden on their website and flag up the issue automatically to anyone looking to book a stay at Elveden.

I am saddened to write this review but…

I am saddened to write this review but feel I need to get my experience across. I have been going to center parcs for over 25 years, I now have my own children and love taking them annually. On Wednesday 8th February we went swimming in the evening, after swimming we had booked bowling. On leaving the pool, my 20 month old was sick, out of nowhere and was suddenly ill. I didnt know what to do, my husband then went up to reception to ask if we could get a lift back to our chalet (which was on the furthest part of the park from the pool) otherwise we walk everywhere. The lady at the desk was so unhelpful, had a stupid laugh and didn't help in the slightest. I only wanted a lift back to our chalet. We then had to get the land train back, with our baby being sick into a pint glass as that's all we had without her being sick all over the place. The land train was full and it wasn't very nice sitting there. I have reached out to center parcs and all I get is 'its not in our policy to transport customers' maybe not but on this occasion I think the rules could have been bent slightly! All I wanted was a proper apology and for them to change the policy so when a baby/child is ill, they do more than just nervously laugh in our face. This is the 1st time I've ever left a trust pilot review. I honestly am so saddened by the way we where treated.

LONGLEAT

LONGLEAT: Booked a dog friendly lodge so we could take our dog... shouldn't have bothered - nothing is dog friendly there. Dogs aren't allowed inside anywhere - the main plaza, sports plaza, or any of the restaurants (apart from the foresters inn which is only open thursdays and sundays for food). We had to order takeaways every night for tea as didn't want to leave the dog alone in the lodge. Bella Italia was very expensive for what looked and tasted like a heated up cheap supermarket-brand value pizza (think the 99p fridge ones) and the Indian takeaway place was always unavailable for delivery.

Lodge was a bit run down and needed upgrading, very out-dated and not changed since we visited over 7 years ago. For the price (and you have to pay more for a dog lodge), we expected way more. Aside from all that, we had a quiet, relaxing week.

Excellent As Always

I visited Center Parcs for the first time at the age of 18 with some friends and I've since gone back to each of the Center Parcs villages within England and I just love it every time.

The staff are friendly, polite and helpful every time and nothing is too much of a bother to sort. Even when we have issues with the accommodation, if something needs replacing or repairing they sort it usually within the same day and they can't do enough.

Most recently we had one of our group with accessibility issues and was shocked how hilly and steep it was walking from the main plaza down to our executive lodge located within Maple. But speaking with guest services they explained their security team will ferry anyone struggling around the village if we pre-book journey's and this really put her at ease. It was excellent, the security team were so friendly and had a great attitude.

We've already booked for 2024 where we're going (nearly) all out on an Exclusive Lodge and we can't wait already. Everything from start to finish is just great.

Safeguarding issues

I’d give less than a star if possible. We’ve been a number of times, but most recently the place was filthy!!! Also, our ‘santa’ during our Santa workshop visit broke safeguarding rules in place. We had a brief apology from center parcs and a refund for our Santa visit, but no explanation as to why he broke this rule. It makes me wonder if safeguarding is taken seriously by them at all (I seriously doubt it) so as a supposed ‘family friendly’ place, I would not recommend to anyone with children.

I enjoyed my time at centreparcs.. Maybe?

I enjoyed my time at centerparcs... But only because I went with my family they made a great experience, not centreparcs. Everything is overpriced the food places were average at best and rubbish at worst. The lodge was fine but nothing more than fine. My Parents took my girlfriend and 5 month old and even I feel ripped off after leaving.

Centreparcs is sadly just not worth the money.

Longleat Centre Parcs

We went to Longleat. The so called new executive 3 bed lodge was showing signs of wear and tear for example dirty carpets, smelly furniture (shaggy dog). The hydro bath was in poor condition. Sauna was ok and the lodge heating was ample.
The subtropical swimming paradise is now in need of a refurbish especially the pool toilets. The water temperature was just on the too cool side most days. It was also too busy especially on the first and last days.
The cost of things in the shop and restaurants is far to overpriced.
The staff though we're pleasant and helpful. Will we be going again not untill they refurbished the subtropical swimming paradise and lower there prices.

Gone Downhill

Lodge was freezing, had to sleep in our clothes, you have to get maintenance team to adjust night heat setting and it wasn't done properly by the 1st person even then. Damp in corner of lodge, cold air coming through window, loads of rats outside the patio, understaffed restaurants so they say its full when hardly anyone seated, I could go on, you pay 5 star costs for 2 star service

Takeaway at Woburn

We had a takeaway at Woburn and I can honestly say it was the worse takeaway I have ever had. I ordered Chinese style curry , it tasted just like chicken both very watery and not a taste of curry in it. Do not waste your money
