Excellent tool server less replication!

Excellent tool for replication without single point of control (failure). Full 5 stars for promised and provided functionality. Good feature 'encrypted folders'. However, this does not provide 'boxcryptor like' functionality! I would strongly wish Resilio would include file level transparent encryption/decryption like boxcryptor did.

Easy to use and works

Works "out of the box" and super fast.

Have been using for the last 5 years on many computers without any major issues.
Highly recommended.

Great tool

Great tool!
Setup was simple yet a bit confusing at first with trying to understand identities.
Licensing was just the simplest best experience ever. One Click!

I'm just missing the ability to sync from my android root / directory. The furthest I can go back is /storage/0 or /storage/{SD card}.
It would be nice to grab the /storage folder and have one rule though.

Sync functionaly works, but web GUI needs some work.

Does the software sync data? yes.

However it feels incomplete. For starters the web interface when installing on a NAS is clunky. Especially when accessing remotely. For me, it required the use of Tailscale and the NAS DSM manager at the same time in two windows to know where and what I was syncing. If the NAS version of the software had a native GUI in Synology DSM and QNAP that would increase ease of use and setup for people that aren't quite as techy.

The software lacks viability into sync errors. I'm trying to sync some directories from NAS A to NAS B in read-only mode (to NAS B). simple enough. Target NAS B shows a sync error. However it doesn't say what file(s) is causing the error. There's no pointer to the offending log file line. There's no way (I can see) to dismiss the error. Sync progress is obstructed while the error is in place.

The selective sync screen is a little laggy as well as limited in functionality. When I select "sync" on some sub-folder it sometimes takes a good 30 seconds to turn from unselected to selected. This UI change should be instant. Even if the underlying sync engine hasn't fully turned over to actually start syncing. At the very least toss in a spinning wheel while it's thinking so the user knows their input has been registered.

The Selective Sync screen on a NAS web interface is limited. No search feature to find a folder or file in a large structure. No ability to select multiple files and folders at once. No ability to re-size the dialog window.

Lastly, the NAS web GUI has many functions hidden and is inconsistent. With a "sync all" folder clicking on the share name does nothing. With a "selective sync" folder the same action brings up a browser to select what items are synced and what items are not. This should be a dedicated button so it's more clear when clicking the folder name will do nothing and when it will do something.

A little more attention to the Web GUI would go a LONG way to making this more pleasant to use.

It fits my needs

It's a great product if you know what to expect. I use it to synch folders between my Linux laptops, my office Windows powered desktop and my Android phone.

That is what I want

For one thing I find the program great; it does what everyone thinks must be possible, but everything you try loads your data in the cloud ... but I have plenty of storage at home to use for that.
The other thing is, if you use it provately, you can use the demo version indefinitely without charge ... that is really worth a lot. So I tried it a while, and now I pay. Once. No Abo or something, maybe I wil by a licence again next year, just because I find this great and refreshing. Thank you!

Great program to share your files…

Great program to share your files without a 3rd party cloud. Windows version runs reliable and has a fast data transfer. Installation and maintenance is much easier than e.g. owncloud server.
Encrypted folder is a great idea, if you would like to have another peer online, but dont trust somebody nicking your harddrive from the pi lying on your Desk. Unfortunately the encrypted folder makes some problems. I shared this to a Bananapi with ubuntu server 22 running. Some files cant be transferred. And, hence the encryption, I dont know which ones. Not sure why this is.
