Great piece of software! I used it to set up my own little server with an old computer as the “always on” hub for transferring my files between all my devices. I just hope that this is still being actively developed because it’s been awhile between version numbers and I really hope it continues because it’s a great solution for those of us who either don’t trust — or don’t want to pay for— cloud storage when all we need is a piece of software and a spare computer and suddenly my “cloud” is limited only by how much drive space I connect to my devices:

Using the application on Synology NAS to synchronise all my devices. Both free and pro version work a treat. Definitely recommend

I used resilio to sync data between my Qnap and my PC. It working great with not many folder subfolder and files..but when I sync my PC documents which is has many subfolder and files total 17Gb resilio cant sync it all I miss some files and subfolder.

I can't use this product on a Windows server. I didn't realise I wouldn't be able to use it until after I purchased it. Turns out to be a total waste of my money. Why on earth can a single user who has paid for the product not use it on a Windows server?

Great easy-to-use way to sync your devices. Great for securely share files with other people.

I sync my files on my Drobo 5N and it delete both files on my original drive + the ones on my Drobo 5N....in a snap

Cool product, but it’s just insaaaaaanely slow. I got 2000b/s internet at the office and 200 mb/s at home, yet I’m getting average transfer speeds of 7 mb/s, highest peak ever being 19.5 mb/s. Perhaps I’m missing something, but other uploads and downloads with other software are utilizing my full bandwidth.

The application for Android must have "selective synchronization" since I have deleted files on my cell phone and it deletes them on the main computer where I store. You are missing the option to erase only on this device. Thanks

I have used resilio for years to sync my two home computers. Now that I have a server and an additional PC it became necessary to move to pro. The pro version has allowed me to easily share folders between devices and selectively download files as required rather than having to have large HDDs in each device.

Software works as intended, awesome!

The response was slow and the customer support refused to help because they claimed that it is beyond the hardware specs. In the end the reddit was more helpful and gave me the solution for my problem.

Si the best app to sync your stuff without the problem of the slowly upload and slowly download from a server, and its all pretty secure, you can use it without an internet connection, only in the local, and you can sync all your data, 1gb 1000 gb 1000000gb

Overall the software seems fairly polished and robust.
What the software seems to struggle with is trying to sync folders with a lot of subfolders and files. The Indexing seems to keep going but there often is no way to tell when if ever it will finish. On some folders I've had the indexing stop but it seems like the indexing finished prematurely as the sync folder size is wrong. I've tried rescanning but I'm not sure why some folders never seem to finish. That said, I paid for the software so I'm still going to keep trying to use it.
For small folders or single files the software was great.

Great and Powerful App with simple UX and Easy to use

I like what I got for free or minimum price.

The software works wonders on a computer and keeps everything in sync. The iOS and iPadOS apps however have a lot of room for improvement. While the app integrates with the "Files"-app there is no background sync. So if you want to add a pdf to a folder you have to add that file with the "Files"-app because the Resilio Sync app doesn't offer this functionality. When you added the file it still isn't synced however, so you need to open the Resilio Sync app to start that process.

Overall: The price is good, but the app needs background sync to be usable for adding or editing files or even for backing up photos without manually opening the app every time.
