Ordered on Thursday

Ordered on Thursday. No shipping confirmation until the next Wednesday. The apparently had to check whether their provider has it in Stock first. At least received my money back thanks to PayPal. Use another shop if you want to receive your shipment in time

Bought a helmet on black friday

Bought a helmet on black friday. Arrvied in good time to the UK however it was completely the wrong helmet. Emailed retto to organise a refund and was told they would not cover the shipping costs. They then did not respond to my email. Now the helmet is back up at full price and they could still get it from me including the shipping costs and still make profit on it. Very poor customer service and would advise anyone to stay clear of any big purchases from this company.

Cannot get through to customer service

Ordered a bike on 15/6. Called today to find out if the order went through and what the delivery date will be to Ireland as I have received no correspondence.

I get cut off the phone after 2 mins.

Phone line instructions in Spanish even though it ships globally.

I’m regretting purchasing off this company as I have a bad feeling about, I should have looked up the reviews prior to ordering.

Perhaps I’m jumping the gun with my presumption so will keep this review updated.

Update 18/6 Received an email to say my bike will be sent today with tracking number. Rating adjusted to reflect this response and will keep this updated

Multiple Broken Promises

Placed my order on the Thursday 11/07 with delivery promised by Wednesday17/07. On Tuesday 16/07 they still hadn't sent the order so I emailed to ask what's up. they responded saying sorry they promise they will send it out straight away. They created a label that day but did not send the package. So I emailed again explain that I am cycling from London to Amsterdam and I really need this stuff and that they had broken 2 promises so far today can they please send the package in a way so that it gets to me by Friday. "Yes sir, sorry we will send it by UPS" Great I thought. I then get a tracking number from UPS and they have sent it UPS Standard! So I put there postcode and my postcode into the UPS site and it says it won't be delivered until Monday. So even after I told them when I needed it by the still sent it in a way knowing it won't arrive in time!! the most annoying thing is that they could have paid an extra euro and it would have got to me on time. If they had of asked I would have paid the euro.

I will never use this company again and I suggest you don't either

Sell products they don't have in stock; then send a different product instead

I ordered a pair of MTB shorts which are an older model and was glad to have found them still for sale. What was sent instead, was a pair of cycling bibs and when I contacted them about the mistake I was presented with apologies and the option of whether I would like to be sent the correct product or if I required a refund. I opted for the refund as I had read some negative reviews here on Trustpilot, but unfortunately only after I had placed my order which took ages to be fulfilled. Nonetheless, and giving the benefit of the doubt, I enquired whether they had the shorts I ordered in stock or not?
The answer was: "No, they didn't."

Untrustworthy, to say the least!

Don't waste your time with this online shop, do a little bit of online research and you'll find trustworthy online retailers in Germany, the UK and France. I only made this one-off purchase at Retto because the old version Endura shorts (Singletrack II) were not available elsewhere;—with Retto you will waste time, nerves and you better pay with Paypal or you will get whatever they have in stock and/or get ripped off!

On the positive side: the return pickup with MRW for Portugal went well and I received a full refund.

Postage more than doubled after transaction completed.

Ordered a set of expensive carbon fibre tri bars. Website told me postage would be £4.36, which I agreed to. Upon completion of the order the tally came up on screen and I saw I was now being charged £10 for postage.

I am hoping this was an error, but it was done in such a way that one could easily have missed it, so I wonder. This has never happened to me before - the postage more than doubled AFTER the transaction had been completed and without notification or agreement.

I have emailed Retto. If it turns out to be an error I will update or erase this posting.

Update: It wasn’t an error. Crooks.

A trustful and honest company

Made my order in the Christmas days and received a notice on New Years eve that my order was on its way; ten days later I received my order (note: The shipping got caught in the holidays but no problems at all).
The homepage is easy to navigate from and it was easy to place an order.
I am a satisfied customer and all credits to Retto.
