Choose wisely

Having experienced a buyer who effectively created nothing but difficulty after difficulty, and eventually pulled out from purchase literally at the very last minute, our momentum and motivation to move, were at an all time low…
However, it was at this time we were fortunate enough to have already secured our solicitor namely Josie Peach of ‘Large & Gibson’ who without hesitation, took up the reigns, and continued to work with us through what we would could put mildly, as a most challenging time.
It was therefore reassuring and useful to be able to talk with Josie as and when I needed to do so and to talk in a manner which was both friendly, as well as comfortably reassuring.
We would also like to make mention of the young solicitor who worked with Josie by the name of Mia Mills (Not a relative!)
We both found her to be a very pleasant friendly young lady to talk to, and who would share in an exchange of friendly banter, whilst always remaining professional in her delivery,
particularly in any matters of importance to us both regarding the sale of our property.
In conclusion we offer them both our thanks and would happily recommend utilising their excellent services and were you looking to converse with people who obviously know the value of friendly approachability.

They haven't published my bad review!

I can see my review when I log in but it hasn't been published. I have contacted them email and phone but no response.

I suspect they don't like to publish one star reviews for solicitors that are paying for their services.

I also notice that the other Review Solicitors on Trustpilot states...... This company’s rating is unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines.

My review is honest and fair and I have all of the emails to back it up .....Leeds Day LLP - St Neots

Absolutely diabolical and would avoid at all costs. My solicitor has been trying to deal with Leeds Day for six months to arrange a simple lease assignment for my business. They have:
1. Turned this into a protracted and unnecessary negotiation (it should a straightforward process), trying to remove the security of tenure rights under the Landlords and Tenants act from the lease.
2. Attempted to increase my ongoing liability for the lease from two years to 15 years!
3. Gave incorrect and misleading information to their client, the landlord. At least when we identified this issue the Trainee Solicitor dealing with us up to that point ‘left’ Leeds Day the next day.
4. Presented us with invoices in excess of the undertakings given and when requested they couldn’t or wouldn’t substantiate them. When challenged further on this they simply reduced their invoice back to the value of the original undertaking. They have been asked on several occasions to explain their costs but have failed to do so.
5. The ‘supervising’ solicitor who took over expressed surprise when she looked at their file and found 281 items, even though she had been on copy of all of them! That was back in June and there have probably been about another 100 email exchanges on it since then and they still haven’t confirmed they are ready to complete.
6. Sent documents to the Landlord for signing that were incorrect and had to be returned, causing further delay. Denied having any knowledge of this on two occasions and finally sent the corrected paperwork back to the landlord two weeks later! We still don’t have confirmation that they are in receipt of the signed documents even though the landlord has confirmed they were completed and sent.
7. Have consistently ignored chasing emails from my solicitor.
This is just a summary. I have lodged a complaint with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (they are members) as I have email and documented evidence to substantiate all of the above.

I went to c and c solicitors based on 3rd party advice…

I went to c and c solicitors based on advice from someone in the Asian subcontinent , Lahore , Pakistan. Prior to switching to my now solicitor, c and c requested private chats and other personal information which my current solicitor said was completely unneeded. C n c solicitors also were unprofessional to the point where one solicitor disclosed their personal history to me. I would give 0 stars if I could. The case has now reached appeal because of incompetence from the solicitors side by pushing the biometric date on 8 separate occasions. Please avoid use of such solicitor. Terrible experience. Even 3rd world countries perform better in immigration matters. Thanks.

Excellent

I have been using Review Solicitors for several years and without doubt, it is the most trusted.

The team are very professional, ethical and friendly.

They understand the importance of reviews to both clients and firms alike. By providing a simple and effective review system, solicitors get useful data on how and where to improve and clients get to bypass the PR and read honest experiences from other people who have used the firm.

Used properly, it a very useful tool.

Highly recommeded

Credibility of reviews published on ReviewSolicitors

In early January 2025, I posted a truthful and verifiable review on ReviewSolicitors, only to discover that this platform appears to be highly biased, as they seem to publish only positive, high-rated reviews. Despite receiving an acknowledgment email confirming my submission, my review was never published.

My review concerned a law firm called Leon Kaye Solicitors. According to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) register, this firm is in the process of closing, and its owner, Mr. L. Kaye (a sole practitioner), has not had his practising certificate renewed since it expired in November 2024. tHowever, the firm’s website presents a completely different picture, depicting a “team” of solicitors and staff who, based on available information, do not appear to be actively employed by the firm. This misleading representation could easily give potential clients a false sense of security and trust.
The discrepancy between the firm’s current regulatory status and its online portrayal raises serious concerns about transparency and compliance with legal advertising standards. The website’s content appears to breach regulations such as the Trade Descriptions Act by providing inaccurate and outdated information to the public.

It is both surprising and concerning that ReviewSolicitors has chosen not to publish this review. This raises questions about their credibility, as it suggests they selectively post favorable reviews rather than those that are truthful and supported by evidence.

SCAM

SCAM - I was asked to write a review about my experience for a free coffee in return as a reward. No free coffee from reviewsoliciters and Iv emailed them 20 times since with reply…dishonest, lies and a pathetic customer experience - don’t believe their ‘free coffee’ scam!

Generating leads

We have used ReviewSolicitors for a number of years now, our account manager Paul Hanney has always been very responsive and happy to help with any issue. Clients are looking more and more at reviews for Professional Services before making decisions and by being visible on ReviewSolicitors and actively collecting reviews we get a number of enquiries through the site each month.

Blocked me from adding my genuine…

Blocked me from adding my genuine review of Platts Solicitors. Clearly this site is stopping/manipulating posts. How can it know if a review is genuine or not if it’s being blocked from uploading. Very disappointing experience, this site is not transparent like TRUSTPILOT.
