SHRINKWRAP IS NOT RECYCABLE in reality…

SHRINKWRAP IS NOT RECYCABLE in reality nor environmentally friendly. All these shrinkwrap sellers say its recyclable - yes but HOW ? They will only recycle if they can collect 10+ rolls which is a vast amount so its going into a skip for landfill. Effectively it is NON-RECYCLABLE - DISGUSTING - and all the scaffolders around here believe the shrinwrap companies sales blurb in that its recyclable - yes it is but HOW? Its time to change - we wont recommend it again and here goes to start a rethink. They should collect it for a minimal charge.

Thank you for your comments. Which scaffolding company supplied you with sheeting? Could you to contact one of our team at info@rhinoshrinkwrap.com or on 01477 532222. Shrink wrap sheeting is much easier to recycle than traditional scaffold cladding since it does not contain eyelets and reinforcing screams that make waste separation difficult. However, I agree with you that not enough is being done right now to make sure that recycling happens. Everything won’t happen overnight but we are commited to working with suppliers and customers to reduce waste. One initiative we are exploring is to supply a free 1 ton 'bulk bag' to scaffolders which could be filled with folded shrink wrap and returned to us at minimal cost via the pallet distribution network. Thanks again.
