The plants on arrival seemed very small. 11 of the 12 plants eventually showed growth. Most have only produced one sprout currently around 30cm high. Only time will tell if they will be productive in 3-4 years time. We already have a productive asparagus bed which is now 7 years old (variety F1 Gijnlim)
