Robust plants doing well

Unfortunately after a very good start, plenty of lovely healthy green leave, this plant has been affected by something that causes the leaves to turn brown. I took off the brown leaves but the problem seems to be systemic. The plant is not recovering and I think it is dying. It is very disappointing.
