Planted in the same pot with a climbing rose (Generous Gardener). Both have flowered and purple clematis and light pink rose are a perfect combination.

A delightful Clematis which has grown and thickened up in a few short weeks. It is thriving on one side of my garden arch with a complimentary climbing rose growing up the other. The plan is that they will meet in the middle and continue to overwhelm the arch. This is my second plant from the RHS, the previous one is a Hydrangea Paniculata Limelight which I planted in a large tub, that too has thrived and is beautiful but will have to be planted out in the garden as it will grow much more. Overall I very pleased with the quality of plants purchased from the RHS.

Unfortunately this plant hasn’t done well either. All three plants arrived in perfect condition, but shortly after flowering died back.
