Freda arrived in great condition, well packaged, and has started an enthusiastic scramble into a eucalyptus towards the sunshine, with her roots in the cool chimney pot on the shady side of the tree. I’m really looking forward to flowers next Spring
Plant arrived quickly, well packed and in excellent condition. Planted out, doing well but now nurturing it during prolonged heatwave! Won’t flower till next year.
I bought several items recently from various suppliers both for new cottage garden beds that I have created and for a new arch over a bench seat. This was the only plant from RHS and, whilst it was more expensive than other prennials and climbers I bought by mail order it was way larger and looked healthier than others. I chose this variety as several sources said it was the most manageable montana variety to grow over an archway. It was only planted out about two weeks ago but already it's showing vigorous growth. Delighted and I guess you get what youoay for?
Plant eaten & killed by slugs overnight. Not a resilient variety.
