I was surprised -in a good way!- how large the plants were when they arrived -I thought that they would need growing on before planting out, but they were strong and healthy. They have thrived, despite this summer's extended hot/dry period, and I'm really happy with them.
Arrived well packaged and in good condition. Unfortunately very popular with black fly so I’ve had some trouble keeping it pest free. Also flower heads are smaller and less prolific than I hoped. Not the fault of RHS, just the genus. I prefer the cosmos chocolate cherry, doesn’t get swamped by black fly and the flowers are more prolific, with larger heads and a more appealing cherry colour.

The plants that lived are thriving , but a 60 % success rate was disappointing.
The plants were strong and healthy when the arrived, and I planted then in the garden within 36hours. I have watered the garden every other day in the evenings, when the sun has moved to maintain during the hot dry weather, and the new plants are OK.
Plant has done well — unlike black parrot tulips which didn’t do anything!
Absolutely beautiful plants. Arrived in Excellent condition and thriving. Couldn’t believe such a reasonable price . Will definitely buy from RHS again
