Having previously ordered bare root plants from another company and failing badly with them -not all my fault I think- I decided to pay more and get potted plants instead . I am trying to make a ‘prairie’type garden and so far so good. Given the growing conditions we have had here in Scotland ( endless rain then a blast of heat followed by more rain and now hot windy weather) and my frequent trips away from home it has been a challenge but things are looking good and I am impressed with the robustness of the plants.
