I bought 2 roses from RHS and 2 from David Austen at the same time. All 4 arrived on the same day. All 4 were planted the following day on different uprights of the same pergola. They have been watered equally. Rosa Iceberg is doing OK as are the 2 from David Austen. Sadly Rambling Rector died very swiftly. I reckon this is more to do with the weather than any fault of RHS plants. I'll be happy to purchase from RHS plants again in the future.
A very healthy plant. It’s been extremely difficult for new plants in this weather but it has survived and continues to thrive.
Planted in Feb 26 to ramble through a dead Elder host tree, the initial flush of flowers were beautiful. Since flowering is has taken off. Extremely vigorous it is doing exactly what I hoped it would do. I anticipate that in 3 years, the dead tree will be pretty much covered. Two photos, taken 15 Jul 26 attached for scale.
The rambler arrived carefully packaged and very safe, in great condition. It has been planted in situ for c6-8 weeks now and is flourishing. (The addition of a tree watering bag in the current heatwave cycle appears to be helping also). I have no hesitations in recommending
