we have a new 15 foot silver tree. We have planted it into a very Sandy lawn with maybe 30 inches or so of soil and then sand. It’s very difficult to be confident about how to water such an adventure. Given the high temperatures we have experienced recently we have erred on the side of generous.The tree watering ring has proved to be very helpful as it delivers a fixed amount of water in a very slow and steady way over I estimate about 10:12 hours. we are pleased with it because it is strong well-made and easy to use. I would suggest it would be helpful to know a little bit more about it, particularly how many litres it holds and how long it actually takes for that to come through the very small nozzles underneath it. Some general advice about how to water new trees would also be welcome.
