Richer Sounds - Edinburgh Reviews 

I had an issue with a television that I had purchased 4 years ago from Richer Sounds and called the number on the guarantee that I had received at that time. I expected a bit of a push back regarding getting the television fixed but the service I received was absolutely first class. I spoke to the customer service representative and he asked a couple of questions, had me try a few things and when that did not fix the issue he made an appointment for a technician to call at my home the very next day. Unfortunately the TV needed to go off site to be fixed which would have left me without a set. I called my local Richer Sounds in Edinburgh and was dealt with by the manager, John. The level of customer support that John provided was superb. He quickly found a solution to supply me with a set that I was absolutely delighted with, he had it delivered to me the next day to make sure I was without a set for the shortest time. I was kept informed of the status of the repair to my own TV and was advised when it had been repaired and that it was available for next day delivery. The same technician that had initially came to check the set came back to deliver it and set it up appropriately. He was first class in taking great care to remove his shoes when he came in to my house and when he was setting up the set. The last part of the process was to return the set that I had previously had as a temporary replacement to the Edinburgh store and receive my refund. This part of the process, no surprise, was once again flawless. It took me less than five minutes from entering the store to leaving with my refund. A brilliant customer service effort from each leg of the process from start to finish. You should be proud of how Richer Sounds was represented by these guys. It’s why I have bought from this store for myself and other family members. Great quality products but, more importantly, outstanding customer care.

Friendly staff, good communication and technical advice. Having installed the new cartridge I can agree with the shop manager's view thta it is a big upgrade on my existing cartridge.

I called to buy a replacement stylus and they were extremely helpful by checking my record player model and ordering in the correct one.

A very helpful and friendly member of staff who was also very knowledgeable.

Phoned up about a new Sonos speaker and record player and John the manager sorted me out right there and then. Picked it up a few hours later. Great service.

I called the shop beforehand to ask about cables for a friend’s loudspeakers. John , the manager couldn’t have been more helpful. Half an hour later, I went to Chambers Street in Edinburgh and all was sorted. I didn’t feel patronised even though I was clearly pretty ignorant about such matters. Terrific service. Thank you.

I've used the Edinburgh store for as long as I can remember. Phoned up to check stock before travelling over there. Sadly and unusually out of stock but John was kind enough to have it shipped to me the following day so I didn't have to make the trip. Couldn't ask for more !

We have bought a number Televisions from Richer Sounds and have found the price and offers to be very good. The helpful advice in the Edinburgh shop has also been good!

Purchased the Manhattan Aero.Delivered promptly, Very easy to set up and work’s perfectly. Also made a mistake when ordering accidentally chosed to pick up in store which would have meant a 300 mile round trip. Contacted them and Matt the web manager made sure that it would be forwarded on to my home address. Excellent customer service. Would highly recommend this company and the device.

We dealt with piers he was very knowledgeable and seemed to cut through the chaff when we decided what we wanted it happened right away and all the equipment we purchased was waiting for me in the shop so on a scale of 10 you scored 12 well done from the palmers . Also I rang and got through to a mgr at a shop in Edinburgh and he sorted me out with the record deck we wanted and it arrived exactly as he said it would so

Excellent service here. Phoned Edinburgh branch looking for 3 Audio Pro C5 W Mk II. Ended up speaking to a couple of people as we worked out the best way to get the speakers to me. Elected to pick up 2 from the store and the white 1 was a special order so straight to my door. No issues getting the first 2 speakers. Arrived when they said they would. But got a phone call a couple of days later saying the special order could be a long time as there was none in stock at the supplier to RS. Was given a few options on how to proceed. In the event we went with option 2 which was see if we could find the speaker somewhere else. We were successful in this so contacted RS and they immediately processed a refund for the full amount. 2 days later it was back off the credit card. Its hard to fault service like this.

I bought an AKG over ear Headphones and the experience was fantastic. The sales person patiently made me try out the options, gave knowledgeable inputs about the the qualities of each one of them and also gave his suggestion on which one i should go for based on the kind of music i listen to. Would highly recommend Richer Sounds Edinburgh.

Very happy with the service from Jamie from Richer Sounds Edinburgh. Very informative and it was such an easy process. I was able to provide a date when I was ready to have it delivered and even that was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Jamie was very knowledgeable and the the demo of the REL subwoofer was excellent.
