Rough start, but fantastic recovery and service

I appreciated the staff’s assistance in facilitating the stock transfer; however, I must express my disappointment regarding the lack of transparency concerning the product's condition.
The headphones were sold as new, but upon setup, I discovered they had been previously paired with another device. While I ultimately chose to keep the item due to limited availability, it is unacceptable that this was not disclosed upfront. I believe that providing a full and honest account of a product's history is a fundamental part of a professional customer experience.

I initially had a disappointing experience with my purchase as the item wasn't in the expected condition.

However, the way the team handled the situation completely changed my outlook.

Jack from customer service was incredibly patient and sincere in resolving the issue. When I went to the store for a refund, the Deputy Manager, James, was also very friendly and professional.

It’s rare to see such genuine accountability these days. Problem solved, and I appreciate the effort from the team

I was of course sorry to read your feedback and offer my sincere apologies. We would never intentionally sell something as brand new that wasn't, doing so would only serve to create customer complaint, something which we work very hard to prevent.

Obviously there has been a terrible mix up here, which I will investigate urgently with the store, we will also be in touch directly with you to put this right ASAP.

Superb support at Richer Sounds, Lichfield.

I have just upgraded to a new LG OLED TV, and needed some advice on what the TV could do and how well it would connect to my other components. The Richer Sounds advisor, Tom, spent a full hour with me, discussed everything and gave me a full demonstration. So helpful.

Amplifier and Hifi rack.

Brilliant service from Bernell. I had seen a Marantz amplifier on your website which suited my needs. Bernell had one on display and went through the specs and operation of it. Had one in stock, so had that one. I also needed a hi-fi rack which he ordered for me. Rack was delivered in two days. Fantastic service.

Lichfield branch... Spot on!

I've shopped at Richer Sounds many times over the years. I've always found them to be very helpful and informative. I bought a new Amp via there website and chose to have it delivered to the Lichfield branch. They were very prompt with delivery and kept me informed throughout the transaction. I'd struggle to fault this branch!

Delivery charge

I had to pay for delivery because I had a hospital appointment and I needed to ensure I would be in for delivery. I felt this was unreasonable

Indeed, on our standard free up delivery service, which is up to 5 working days, the courier nominated will of course propose a date to customers with enough notice to reschedule if unsuitable, but for customers wishing to choose their own date, we offer a premium delivery service that comes with a small charge.

Fantastic after sale service

My 88 year old mum bought a Manhattan recorder from Richer Sounds in Lichfield. They installed it for her and have since been to help her twice when she has got confused with the remote control. They have dealt with her in an extremely kind and friendly manner, wouldn’t take any payment and have saved me a load of stress. I could not be more grateful and happy with the service the Lichfield store (and Luca) have provided.

Your website is useless as no-one can…

Your website is useless as no-one can pay on it

Both myself and my partner have tried several times to buy ‘Sale Items’ but when you get to the payment part it doesn’t want your money !

Makes buying anything g a tad difficult and u had to phone up to purchase - but if a chore

Helpful friendly staff

Helpfull staff. Good range of products on display - though large screen TVs and associated sound bars etc are the main items on demonstration. Stereo systems and turntables on display though more from the budget ranges. Very competitive prices.

Great Sonos experience at Lichfield with Tom

We had an appointment with Tom at Lichfield regarding extending my Sonos setup. Tom patiently took me through a number of options explaining the pros & cons along the way, which was great because what I ended up buying wasn't what I originally thought I needed. Tom was first class, with no sales push at all, which made the whole experience so much smoother. The results are great, which includes a Sonos mini sub, and arc unltra and a sub gen 4, along with a port and a fantastic Project turntable which sounds perfect through the Sonos port and my sonos ones. Thanks Tom for pointing me in the right direction - talking to the experts, like Tom at Lichfield, is highly recommended
