Richer Sounds - Lichfield Reviews 

My wife and I arrived at Richer Sounds, Lichfield and found the shop closed, it was about 11am.
I pressed the door bell and then read the opening times in the window, the shop didn't open until Noon!!!!
As we turned away we saw a gentleman waving at us from the back of the showroom. It turned out to be Tim who then opened up the shop early and guided us through all the range so that we were able to buy the right (for us) TV.
We then said that we would go for a coffee whilst in the Town.
He told us to leave the car in the Richer Sounds Car Park and call in on our way back and he would then load the TV so that it wasn't on display to any passing low life.
I am 68 years old and bought my first HiFi separates from Richer Sounds in Birmingham well over 40 years ago. I have never been anywhere else since as I know the prices will be keen and the excellent service second to none.

Great product knowledge and overall a very positive experience, I would defiantly recommend Richer sounds.

I received a nice welcome - the store manager opened the door for me outside of their usual opening hours, and gave me as much time as I needed and loads of helpful advice.

I recently had to take my cd player into the store, there was a fault with it, within a few days I picked up my cd player, and it was perfect, no problem. It was well looked after and I’ve had no problem since. Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all a good experience.

I tend to buy on line when dealing with richer sounds as i find many of them knowledgeable but arrogant most certainly those at Litchfield richer sounds having listened to and bought a pair of speakers for 500 pounds i was left with the impression they felt they were doing me a favour even being allowed in the shop. I recall I even had to a make an appointment.. I wont be back.

My speakers and stands were delivered when promised, I unpacked them and installed them into my system.Am currently running them in but so far very pleased, I’m sure they are only going to get better…..Thanks to the stafff who let me audition them in store.

Great service from the Lichfield store and information regarding tv’s especially the Hisense 55” with one in stock I was able to take it home with me and install it they said any problems to phone them to assist.

By the time I went into the shop I had already determined what I wanted. Even so, the shop assistant gave me alternatives to be sure I had made the correct choice for me. Ordering was quick and easy and once again alternatives for delivery. Delivery itself was quick and straightforward.

I bought a streamer, amp and speakers from Lichfield after hearing them in the demo room. Tim guided me through the process and without his help I would not have been able to come to a conclusion. The further you listen to different system set ups the more confusing it can become. Without Tim's knowledge/ experience and patients I would have been struggling , together with the fact that prices and customer service are so good. I have used Richer Sounds over 25 years and can totally recommend using them in the future and for anyone else wishing to purchase electronic/ hifi equipment.

I found the staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable
about the products you offer, and indeed how to put together a package most suited to my needs.
I am having a few issues with the Sonos system that I purchased, but am getting excellent support from the Lichfield store, which in spite of being busy, still find the time to help. This personal attention is where this business excels, and why I buy from it.

This may sound like a tale of woe, and in some regards, it is. However, the response by Richer Sounds was extraordinary. I’ll explain.

I had cause to return a set of Sony HT-A9’s for repair, and as I had no longer possession of the boxes it came with, I had to get boxes delivered by the Engineer Department.

Due to what I can only describe as a series of unfortunate events, one of the two boxes appears to have been lost, and after a week, it was agreed that I could have a credit for the value. I did have to go to the Lichfield branch of Richer Sounds, but I managed to get a new system from them which was delivered a few days later.

I know this wasn’t an ideal situation, but it was handled in a very professional manner by Gary, and the staff at the Lichfield branch were so accommodating to me. The guy I spoke to also made what transpired to be a great bit of advice which I gladly took.

Great advice only wanted a TV for the bedroom.
Ordered on a Sunday and in store by Tuesday, staff gave me a ring to inform me that it had arrived. My wife picked up the TV and staff assisted her getting into the car.

Once again excellent advice calm and no pressure on my aspersion's and questions.

Helpful staff easy purchase.
However I did try to order online but could not work out how to apply VIP discount. Staff in house did it for me but it meant I had to go to the shop.
