Embedded in my memory for many years is the impression that Richer Sounds was a supplier of quality HiFi for enthusiasts and discerning customers. In those days they seemed (in my youth) to be too expensive for my financial status. Times change, but quality is always quality and competitevness is more important today than ever.
Now, we want a better quality TV and after a bit of utube investigations, we decided that LG were the brand of the moment and prices were competiteve where ever one looked. What raises RS above the box pushers is product knowledge and spcialisation in the market. They are not a "Jack of all trades and master of none" They live and breathe high quality products in their field. Our new LG OLED 65 G is a joy to behold. You have to experience it yourself to appreciate it. I'm 78 and used to step by step guides. LG has a one sheet guide for most of their models (not RS's fault) My advice: study it carefully and unpack everything by the guide sheet. Once done start it up. What to do? follow the installation procedure. It does work, but terminology is only valid if you know what it means. A better printed guide enclosed with the product would be preferred. That said, navigating via the remote is a new experience. Especially by voice control that does not alway quite understand the spoken command. I am getting better at this. I have a NetFlix dongle, Humax satellite box and Blueray Player, plus a sound bar and sub woofer supplied foc by RS. It's all doable, but be patient.
The viewing pleasure is worth it.

Good products at good prices and a friendly helpful service

I have used Richer Sounds for a long time and in two different branches. The staff are always cheerful and welcoming. They are very knowledgeable about their products but in a manner that is open and accessible m rather than a bit know-it-all. I am a member of their VIP CLUB and thus get an extra discount on my purchases. The guarantees on their products varies per item, but my new TW has a 6 year one. Richer Sounds is owned by the staff in each branch - Mr Richer himself retired some time ago, and set up the ownership model for his then employees.

Experience told us it is better it is best to deal with a specialist company who as it turned out provided the service I was looking for. Calum and James helped me through the set up as it soon showed that my router needed replacing. Job done.

I've made three major purchases now (£1.5K, £6K and now £2.6k across two different branches) with Ricker Sounds and its all been very easy. I like the offers and guarantees offered at RS, on this purchase we saved £500 on the sound system when purchased with the TV and it all came with a six year guarantee. The staff are always very helpful, the manager at Tunbridge Wells even gave us a new controller following one of our dogs chewing the previous one. RS are my go-to supplier for Tv - audio etc for good reason, long may they continue doing what they do so well.

Staff that listen and provide solutions, help when things don't go well, charge sensible prices and even provide umbrellas when it's torrential outside.

The LG tv oled i bought is amazing and great purchase. Higjly recommend buying from Richer sounds!

Guys were very helpful, full demo and even closed five minutes late accommodating us. Explained differences between music over WiFi and Bluetooth and demo the quality difference. Bought the Denon home 600 and will be returning to get the sound bar and sub. Is a 45 minute trip for us but well worth the effort.
