Very quick delivery. No hassle.

I have visited this music shop a few times. On my last physical visit, I wanted to trade in a mint condition Yammy MGP12X with flight-case, and was offered buttons, but advised I would surley get what I was hoping for if I sold privately... I asked if the trade-in fee would increase if I bought something or swapped there and then, but again the answer was no. I understand stores have to make money, but from my perspective, that was unimaginative salesmanship - and greedy.
That was about 2 years ago, and I thought I'd have a look online for a new/different guitar only to find many gjitars on show, on several pages, but when choosing 'in stock only' there is often just one available, out of all of them.
It's probably best that I revisit in person, as the online viewing experience was totally naff. I don't know.

Purchased a used PRS Custom 24 35th anniversary, description excellent with good photographs revealing the condition of the instrument. For remote customers like me, who cannot visit the store personally this is invaluable when making the decision to purchase. Guitar arrived to me quickly and very well packaged.

I have been a Richtone customer for many years now, purchasing numerous used guitars and have never been disappointed by any purchase. Although separated by the sea and 500 odd miles I consider Richtone my local music shop, cheers again folks.

Very Fast Delivery (next Day) and was very well packed, Guitar was described as in good condition, it was in fact, like new, no marks on it anywhere, very very pleased, fantastic guitar, great price.

Can’t fault the service at all! Living in Oxfordshire, I couldn’t get up to the store to see a guitar I liked the look of, the guys happily sent me a video of the guitar, which I felt was excellent customer care.
And evidently made me purchase the guitar!

I rang Tuesday afternoon 23rd April to ask if I could come over the next morning (160 mile trip there n back)

I asked if I could listen to two speakers they were selling

Got there next morning, guess what, they had sold them the night before, they never rang me, they knew where I was coming from

I'd bought a s/h Schecter USA Strat from Rich Tone, but on getting it home I found it to be intermittently noisy - electrical buzzing which was made worse/better by twiddling the volume knob. I took it back to be looked at and although the guitar refused to show the fault when tested (!!), Tom immediately wanted to get in to it to check if anything was visible.
He identified a grounding problem and fixed it whilst I waited. He also wired it to give a tone control on the bridge pup (like the old strats, this pup was not allocated a tone control).
Tom - you were brilliant! A first class job. It was always a great guitar, now it's really special!
Thanks also to Ben who first sold me the guitar and took time yesterday to show me round some nice new LPs.
This is a proper music shop. Loads of gear, new and used. Well worth a visit - I fully recommend.

Bought a new guitar. Good amount of damage to it which wasn't shown in the photos. Richtone couldn't care less.

Avoid and check out their reviews on ebay.

18th April 2024. Ordered a guitar online today for delivery then decided to collect instead as I wanted to try some amps as well.
Superb staff that were friendly and helpful. Really kind towards my teenage daughter as well.
Chilled out playing a few amps with no pressure from staff, just very helpful advice when I asked for it.
Walked out with new guitar and amp (fender Nashville tele and fender bass breaker).
Absolutely superb shop, great gear and down to earth decent guys running the place. Next on my list will be an acoustic and I won’t be shopping anywhere else.

Over the years, I have bought a number of guitars from here and pedalboard equipment and never had any issues. On my most recent transaction, I completed a trade-in towards a Gibson Les Paul and the trade-in process was fair and efficient. On collection day, the guitar was ready when I arrived and the sales colleague took time to explain the guitar and case candy. The guitar was as described and I'm very pleased with it (plus the price was competitive too, being lower than I could have bought it online from many places).

The used amp I bought was shipped out very quickly (even with the bank holiday,) packaged incredibly well, and Tom was very quick to answer any questions via email.

Just bought my second used guitar from Rich Tone. Very pleased with it - even better than I had expected from the description (and with a lot of retailers we know it's the opposite). It was also the most competitive price that I could find online, beating even private sellers. Very happy customer. I was in two minds about leaving such a positive review because I don't want everyone else hoovering up all those great deals before I do. But go on - be my guest! You won't regret it.

Great price on a used bass. Staff responsive to queries even for the low value sale. BASS was Set up well, very well packaged and quick delivery.

Bought a second hand mixer to use as a sub mixer and for gigging.

It was in perfect condition. Dispatch was immediate and it was really well packaged, I would definitely check these guys out for anything else I may need in the future before ebay.

I am a novice guitarist, and recently bought my first brand new guitar from Rich Tone Music. I bought it using Click and Collect and it was available for collection the next day. The guy in the store set it up for me and played it, then offered me a strum. I declined due to me being a novice. There was no way I was going to embarrass myself in a shop full of guitarists🤣. Will definitely buy from here again.
