Professional plumbers
Rightio was very professional and polite the job was done professionally. The only one criticism is that would have been nice to know the night before what time the plumber was coming around with it being an early appointment. But pleased with the job the plumber has done
So unhelpful
I was having trouble with my toilet cisterns. The plumber arrived and after very little time inspecting the toilets advised me that i need a soft water system. That was the sum total of his help, for which Rightio charged me £182.00. When i called my local plumbers, they discovered that the inlet valve was blocked and proceeded to change it. They were friendly and helpful and of course i will always use them in future and never trust Rightio again.

Kitchen sink repair
Rightio were professional, prompt, communication and paperwork was good and Elias, the {young} engineer, was competant. I had a leaking kitchen sink gasket which I couldn't fix myself and Rightio got us out of fix.
Avoid!
The good: errrr
The bad: not a local firm as implied in their local mag adverts. Our local mag has now removed the advert due to many complaints. Shady practice of showing local numbers when they are a national company.
They take card details and payment up front to book an engineer visit.
The engineer said he could not sort the problem without knocking into an upstairs wall. Later another company fixed the boiler, in the boiler, and verified there was nothing in the wall!
Total cost was over £200 to get a wrong opinion from an engineer.
Looks like a scam aimed at older folks.

Got Ripped off DON’T BE NEXT
The company sent a plumber to my house. He provided no quote, did no work and charged my credit card £176.40. I then got an email saying that my job had been completed. When I called to ask for a refund I was told a senior member of staff would call me back within 48 hours. No one called and I have called them back twice more and told someone would call me back within 24 hours. 5 days later still waiting. Referred to my credit card company as a fraud claim. Job no. 7324739.
No contact from this company. It is documented on their own system that no-one has attempted to contact me. The only contact has been from me to them.

The plumber who came was efficient and…
The plumber who came was efficient and helpful, but the price charged for exorbitant. I would not use this company again. My neighbour, who had a similar problem in the same week, was charged 30% of the charge made by Rightio and the work carried out was excellent.
Stu carried out the work with no fuss…
Stu carried out the work with no fuss and no problem, smashing job. Would be happy to recommend him in the future.
Poor Service and No Show. Cowboys.
It’s been a month and the job still isn’t done. I signed up to pay for the insurance and they only have one guy in the area who refuses to come. Cowboys.
Dont trust this company
Contacted about a blocked drain. Company accepted the job, arranged a time and convinced me to sign up to their insurance as would lead to a discounted price. On day of job they phoned to cancel - not rearrange. They dont have an engineer in our area. Turns out they sub-contract and clearly couldnt find somebody to do the job despite arranging a time etc. We now have to find somebody else and have 3 days entirely wasted. No apology, no real explanation. Have told them to cancel the care club insurance and will be looking out for any unknown removals from accounts as dont trust them to cancel
what a rip off
dreadful rip off nearly a thousand pounds to flood a room and have a rude indian threaten me with the police DO NOT USE 10 times worse than when we started

Stu arrived nice and early and was done in no time at all.
Boiler leak
One morning my boiler was leaking from underneath so I had to switch it off. When I rang Rightio the staff member said they would send someone out. Unfortunately engineers were busy but Rightio kept me up to date, by phone, and the engineer arrived on Monday afternoon and was polite and professional
Assistance with a blocked sink
The plumber who came to our aid (Owen) was first rate. He wasted no time in diagnosing the problem and solving it for us.

Highly recommended
Highly recommended. I was kept up to date throughout via texts and phone calls from Gully the engineer and from the office prior to his visit. Gully was a true professional, he listened to me explaining my issue and he was friendly, diligent, thorough and cleaned up the rubbish and messy bits you expect to get with any plumbing work, and even that was minimal. I was really happy with the work and ease of payment and he gave me peace of mind with the 12 month guarantee. Thanks Gully!
I wish I had read these reviews before…
I wish I had read these reviews before wasting a day of my life. Called at 11.30. Said someone would be round in a couple hours. Took my bank details and gave me a reference number. No one turned up. Called back at 5pm and told me I had a text to say no one was available. They didn't send a text, when I stated that I was put on hold. Then I was asked a question about the boiler and I was told bookings team would call me back, I even asked if it was too late and was told no. No call back, no engineer, a young family without hot water for another night and this terrible company also have my card details.
The only good thing was the response…
The only good thing was the response time. From then on it was not a good experience but it was a very expensive one. A boiler repair was attempted but it wasn't successful but that wasted at least a day. A different plumber said it was bound to be a futile attempt. I asked for an adjustment and my plumber said he would email his opinion but I suspect he let me down on that.
The quote to replace the boiler was not unreasonable actually but I used someone else.
Izero stars…
I would rate this company zero stars but that's not on here.
Being told there are NO engineers available at the weekend when my tenants rad leaked all over and needed replacing. I had to pay another group to do it. Despite paying three full premiums on three properties! My home did not get the gas safety check I paid for last year. A female operative told me in October, We dint have enough engineers, call again in the future. They have enough operatives to take my payments in full every month, then do not deliver what is due. Employ more engineers!
And as for safety...the TEN gas certificates , 2x5 on two houses for the last five years, every single one was unfit for purpose when they were needed in court. The Dont Care Club took over 18 working days, that's over a month to eventually head them correctly, not with spelling GUESSED by the area manager, even though I write out the correct details in every word and e mailed it every day for those 18 requests ...I was left unable to take my tenant to court. Disgusting. There us a law that upholds customers rights. Trading Standards, and the Gas Regulatory board and Gas Ombudsman next. You have not kept me or my tenants safe. You have compromised us all! No apology, no offer to service my boiler when I raised this. 8 think every one of your 12,000 plus customers deserves to know what they won't be getting for their money. Your vital safety certificates , will be jungles by people who do not know how to write them....so yes you will be overcharged , for defective paperwork! Shane, cis the engineers who actually do the fittings and plumbing are good at their job. Be Careful!
Have used them twice
Have used them twice. Very prompt service. Both times the plumbers were helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. They let you know exactly when they will arrive, so no more waiting in all day and then being told they have been called out on en emergency. Highly recommended.
