Having done a lot of research into upgrading our motorhome for off-grid living and hours of internet exploring to find the right company to carry out the work for us, we decided that RoadPro were the right people for the job. We were not disappointed.
Their work is tidy and professional and our upgrade, having now used it for a few weeks, works perfectly.
We had extra solar panels put on the roof and swapped our two AGM batteries for two lithium batteries along with a battery to battery charger. Even on the dullest of days, we are still getting solar power and usually, at the end of the day, the batteries are charged to 100%, even without starting the engine.
Throughout the process, RoadPro have been very helpful and informative and Damien is an excellent technician.
We have no hesitation in recommending RoadPro and indeed, already have done.

I have just had my Auto-Sleeper Bourton battery system upgraded by Roadpro. I received excellent advice about my requirements from Allen over several months by email. I have had two 150ah batteries and a 2000w inverter fitted. The work was carried out by Damien who managed to fit both batteries under the passenger seat which has freed up some extra space in the under bed storage where the original 2nd battery was! The standard of work is excellent and l thoroughly recommend the Roadpro team and will be using them again when l need any further upgrades!
All is ready now to test out the system on our upcoming six week trip to the Italian Lakes when we will be off-grid for the majority of that time.

Good trust worthy advice and excellent installation by Damon. Had my Adria upgraded with an NDS 2000W inverter + remote switch & RCD, so now I have all 3 pin sockets live off the inverter when off-grid.

Quick Summary – would highly recommend this company for work on your motorhome or campervan. Excellent selection of products, comprehensive and very helpful advice, super easy to work with (and very accommodating with respect to staying over) and most importantly the quality of their installation work is superb. My other advice would be that they are busy (for all the right reasons), so start your engagement with them early, take your time refining with them what you want and be patient with both component availability and installation dates.
More detail if you are interested and helps with your own decisions. Our motorhome came with two traditional 95Ah AGM leisure batteries with the common Schaudt EBL charger/management system (in our case EBL 30 and a supplementary Schaudt EBL LAS1218 charger ) plus a Votronic MPPT solar charger. At four years old looking to replace batteries and thought for some while whether to simply swap like-for-like (cheap option) or take the opportunity to upgrade to a system which would give us much greater flexibility for off-grid ventures. After number of discussions on phone/email with Allen (who was really helpful throughout) we opted for two 150Ah OFF-GRID Lithium Batteries (RoadPro’s own sourced and designed battery), Votronic 1225 25Ah charger, NDS B2B 80A charger, Votronic Battery computer, NDS 600W Pure sinewave inverter plus associated cabling/wiring and installation. As part of installation they removed the supplementary charger freeing up space for the new Votronic charger and also reconfigured the existing Votronic solar controller for Lithium set-up. Also opted to have installed at the same time a 5G roof arial together with the 5G Compact Pro router. Probably like many owners, always slightly apprehensive about trusting others to effectively crawl all over your pride and joy, pulling things apart and drilling holes all necessary to install the various components. I really shouldn’t have worried as clearly they take the upmost care with their work and our installer Damien is clearly at the top his trade making a perfectly neat job throughout and highly creative as to how to maximize use of space. You can stay over on their forecourt the night before or during your installation and they were super accommodating in dropping me and picking me from nearby Long Buckby Station – interesting talking to person who gave me a lift, again clear that their staff all really committed and enthusiastic about their work. After installation, they were great at showing me how it all worked and having tested it all back home I am really pleased with both the choice of components and the quality of the installation work. One piece of advice would be to be patient with them, they are very busy (and deservedly so) and get booked up some way in advance so don’t be put off if you don’t get immediate responses to your questions. Also I would advise allowing plenty of time to schedule in your work (in part due to component availability / delays and in part due to installation slot availability). In summary, RoadPro have been a pleasure to deal with and I would 100% recommend them.

I had a significant electrics upgrade - an extra solar panel, upgraded regulator, battery display, battery to battery charger, a 2000w inverter and a couple of new sockets. All expertly and neatly installed.

Looking forward to some wild camping now !!

As always it was worth the wait for our 160w solar panel and controller required as yet again the replacement stick on panel which Travelworld will insist putting on new vans had failed. Whilst in full sun in Spain is was a delight to watch 8 amps being delivered to our EZA unit which was originally fitted to an earlier van by RoadPro and had been transferred by RoadPro to the current one. As always Damian did an excellent neat job.

We are full time motorhomers travelling Europe. We ran into leisure battery issues following an installation undertaken in France. RoadPro went out of their way to find us on our campsite and spent at least an hour assessing the potential issues. They supplied two new Lithium Batteries and we undertook a complete re-installation of the leisure battery system. I can’t thank Andrew and the team at RoadPro they really came to our rescue and supplied only the best fit for purpose equipment. We highly recommend RoadPro.

Just like to say how impressed we were on our recent instalment of full Solar System with 2000watt inverter install at Roadpro Daventry. The service we received was excellent from everyone, great hospitality and everything installed to a high standard. Everything was explained to us step by step. The install took 2 days and they made our Motorhome available at night for us to sleep in as we had travelled a long distance. Not knowing the area we were given good tips of local interest to visit during the day. (Thanks for the breakfast on the barge tip !! ) We are very happy to recommend Roadpro to anyone thinking of having upgrades to their vehicle. Credit where credit's due..

Problem with our Batteries while travelling in Europe, Howard was helpful on the phone, and when back home Roadpro supplied Richard at Rhales conversions with new batteries and parts, all fitted and up and running again.

Absolutely brilliant service from RoadPro from the initial meeting the advise from the team was second to none. Two 150 amp lithium batteries with a battery charger NDS 2000w pure sine inverter, making my Fiat Globecar 540 prime an off grid campervan. Whilst having this done went for a camos break light jewel camera with a 7inch mounted monitor and an SG ready compact + WiFi system. After 3 days of install to go and collect my van, I was over the moon to see the quality of workmanship. I would highly recommend RoadPro to anyone thinking about making any changes to their vans. Purchased a C9464 Infinity 100A/150A lithium battery,320 watt Suncontrol 2 MPPT Dual Regulator and touch screen display for regulator in June 2022 after seeking advice from RoadPro. Researched the market considerably and came to the conclusion that the products I bought were very competitively priced for a good specification. Company very helpful with advice on requirement. Excellent delivery and company very helpful with advice 6 months later. Battery is capable of sustaining a high-power output for 3kw inverter whilst using a hairdryer. All products working well so far.

In May this year Roadpro upgraded our Motorhome and fitted two lithium batteries. I delayed this review to ensure good testing, particularly in the winter. A recent visit to France with no hookup proved what a great system we had. Dark by 5 we had all lights on. TV and blown air heating. The next morning we had used 16% of our battery power. We now have the system we wanted.
Coupled with that the service I received on site was first class. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A comfortable waiting area and regular updates. I will use them again in the future, thank you. Dave McManus, Colchester

We recently had the need to enlist the services of the team at RoadPro to investigate and resolve some very complex and involved issues with the electrical system in our camper-van.
From the outset they rose to the challenges with enthusiasm and were undaunted by the complexities presented, which had hitherto defeated others who had built and installed the setup.

My Crystop self seeking satalite system on my narrowboat stopped locking on to Astra2.
Crystop Uk has ceased trading, so I contacted Crystop Germany and they put me in touch with RoadPro.

RoadPro where so helpful sorting out what turned out to be a software issue with a firmware update needed.

RoadPro liaised with Crystop Germany and obtained the necessary software and updated my unit!

I’m so pleased to have my satalite tv up and running again, thank you RoadPro.

Allen and his excellent team provided us with a superb service today installing a new lithium battery , regulator and computer all at very short notice. They provided a comprehensive explanation of everything and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended and will certainly use again for our next upgrade!

Very professional service, sometimes you do get what you pay for. Despite a long journey very happy with the Camos Rear-view Camera and felt comfortable to ask questions about other products. Will return again for additions from time to time . All in all a very knowledgeable team .
