You have to buy a membership to get best pricing. That wouldn't be so bad but they don't offer free returns as a membership perk which is just wrong. If your order is lost it takes an unnecessarily ex... See more

Awful Customer Service
For the second time in a year, they cancelled my order due to out of stock, without alerting me. I only found out after I logged into my account after 9 days of waiting. Terrible communication!
A happy exerience
The customer service department made my experience great. I am the CX manager for 3 dealerships and understand what customer service is about. Truly appreciate your understanding and professionalism.
Great Store
I generally receive great service at their stores, but it’s useful if possible to pick out salesperson who seems to have best knowledge. I love their 90-day “return in any condition” policy for VIP. It’s saved me on several occasions when I ended up not liking my original purchase (even made multiple returns, no questions asked). It does seem that once everything is said and done that my cost is reasonable and I really appreciate the security of being able to return shoes after wearing them awhile.
As far as salespeople go, I had good experiences at both the Campbell and Sunnyvale stores. My only complaint is there was some presentation of products I wasn’t that interested in at the SV store (e.g. socks, insoles).
Done with RRS
I have been purchasing from RRS from the very beginning. Not any more! The customer service is bad and slow. They just took money from my account without permission for the VIP program which is nothing like it used to be. I have attempted to reach out to them with no response. I am done with them! RRS is not the same - too sad!
I signed up for a lifetime VIP…
I signed up for a lifetime VIP membership years ago and they downgraded it when they were acquired. Now the membership that I paid for when they were a small struggling company, is only worth 5%. To get full benefits they want me to pay another $44 per year to get full benefits.
So Shady!
Loved the experience
Loved the experience, customer support at Bellevue store. Don't know why the negativity, I told them I dont need insoles and they are ok with it.
You have to be VIP to return bad shoes
I bought a shoe (paid $150) two days ago and use it for only one day, the shoe sole tore, I went back to the store they told me they can't take it back or replace because I am not VIP member. This is really not a good policy, and I am not recommending anyone to buy from them.
Lowkey Scammers
I bought an insole from them, and a year later they charged me $49.99 for a VIP account I never signed up for.
Wanted to exchange shoes
Wanted to exchange shoes. Waited half an hour. No answer.
They mailed me previously worn shoes in…
They mailed me previously worn shoes in a beat to hell box. I call. I was told return them. Have a nice day. So I’m inconvenienced to return these shoes to a UPS store. I’m out the shipping. I say that’s it? Oh I can knock off the return shipping fee. Um what? This is their third strike of very bad customer service and shipping. Never again.
Be prepared to get a surprise $50+ charge on your credit card or Paypal account a year later.
You buy the VIP membership for around $5 so you can get a discount on the shoes you buy. Then, a year later, they auto renew your VIP membership at $50. They took the $50 directly out of my Paypal account. They did send me an email reminder that this was going to occur, but it was mixed in with the hundreds of emails they flooded me with throughout the year. This is absolutely a scam that takes advantage of their customers. I truly hope this review causes others to buy elsewhere. And I pray their business goes bankrupt for taking advantage of so many people.
It is one big scam!!! DO NOT BUY HERE!
I have been charged again and again for some VIP service I never signed up for at a visit from Holland. I would NEVER need that service. I contacted them again today, after they charged me 50 USD again on my card. It is one big scam!!! DO NOT BUY HERE!
Really horrible rewards program, customer service...
The rewards program is terrible. It is a train you can get on but never get off. It is very difficult to use your "rewards" and very difficult to get out of the program - the billing continues, for years.
The program requires you to renew automatically and gives you discounts it says you can use, but even when you place an order, tick the box to apply your rewards, and the rewards show as applied in the shopping cart, the actual charge to your card doesn't reflect the application of the reward balance.
Even if you have paid for the program (your first year is "free"), if you turn off auto-renewal, your rewards are unusable from the date you turn off the renewal. This is surely illegal.
The customer service is poor - they obfuscate the issue when you call in. They evade questions like how many years you have been charged the fee. It is difficult to reach a customer service rep as the hold times are long.
The actual availability of inventory (selection, styles, current shoes) is poor, so it is difficult to use your points for the shoes you want for this reason, in addition to the more technical ones.
Try canceling the service - IMPOSSIBLE
Try canceling the service. it's impossible. I moved out of the country and no longer need a membership. Have waited on hold for HOURS. They tell you if you press "1" they'll call you back, but NEVER HAPPENS. It's impossible to get out of the plan because the only way they'll let you exit is by calling them on a number they don't answer.
The way they train their employees is…
The way they train their employees is basically , try to sell everything you can , and they would do a point system . These poor customers think they just want to buy shoes but end up paying so much more for things they don’t need because employees tell them to . The owner fired me and said they were closing the Torrance store because they thought I was a “mass shooter”Like omg what a thing to say to someone . I’m not violent in anyway possible. I was so surprised when he said this . This is the owner of the company saying this .
Contracted on Friday
Contracted on Friday. Pick up Monday..never showed up. Tuesday no show. I could not ahold of a single person...Cancelled Tuesday night...went with Z Tran, they are great
Hidden charges to VIP scheme
Purchased some trainers from them a while ago and was asked if I wanted to join their rewards scheme at checkout, seemed ok, but a year later my credit card company highlighted a potential fraud alert. Road Runner Sports tried to charge me $69.99 for a VIP subscription. This is a scam; please don't fall into this trap. I'd suggest steering well clear of the VIP club - I will never shop here again.
Exceptional Service By Brooke
I recently visited the Marietta store and had the most amazing and best service ever from Brooke! Brooke provided such exceptional service that I had to write a 5 star review on how wonderful she was. She was beyond knowledgeable, helpful, thorough and the nicest sales associate we've experienced. The details she knew about how the shoe would performed with the foot was impressive. Also, she knew what kind of sock to recommend as well. To go further, she also took the time to check our information in the system and as it turned out she found that it needed to be update and we even had points that we used toward our purchase. Thank you Brooke for going above and beyond to provide us and the customer outstanding service. Why we would want to shop anywhere else with an associate like Brooke?
Do NOT trust this business
Do NOT trust this business! They gave me a free upgrade to my membership. Then, I got a call from credit card company, Citibank that Roadrunner Sports was trying to charge my card $99.99 for the annual fee. I declined. Citbank blocked the charge. Then, Roadrunner Sports again submitted the charge for payment and it went thru. I've spent over a month trying to 'claw back' the $99.99 which I did not authorize.
I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
