ABSOLUTELY BAD, BAD, BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I asked them to make an official complaint!! They did not answer!! They have stopped answering my e-mails......???
Please can you re-fund my money for the goods that I HAVE NOT RECEIVED!!!

In my book this is THIEVING from people!!
I wrote the following:
Are you aware of the - Consumer Protection for unfair trading?

or - The consumers Contract Regulations?

or - Consumer Rights Act 2015?

OR an Ombudsman?

Or the Small claims court??

The least you could do is answer the e-mail!!!

If I don't get a re-fund, I will be forced to take this further.

Absolutely appalling customer service - AVOID

Absolutely appalling customer service. Since taken over by Sports Direct, this company is shocking. I have shopped at Robinsons for years but recently service has been shocking. I ordered a variety of items including a pair of child's chaps for my daughter-robinsons sent adult ones instead. I was then asked to return them at my own expense and the correct item would be resent (I was told I would be reimbursed for postage). I did as requested but then the item originally ordered was out of stock. I'm still yet to receive a full refund for the item and my postage was unable to be refunded by my original payment method so I had to wait 10 days for a cheque to be issued-very inconvenient as i do not live near my bank. Customer services clearly do not put the customer first....I will never order from them again. Avoid at all costs!

What has happened to Robinsons

What has happened to Robinsons! Since being taken over by Sports Direct the service is dreadful! Store staff at Leeds are bordering on being just rude and unhelpful, sometimes the store is half empty of basics. I have now ordered a rug online Fri evening, which I cancelled Saturday morning only to receive an email on Sunday saying the order had been processed! I now have a rug to return and not only do they refuse to refund my postage, I have to pay postage again for the rug returning, just because their departments obviously don't talk to each other! I am still battling this out with Customer Services but I will not, order from them again.

Not the greatest

If you're lucky you can get away without any issues buying from this site but it seems that the customer service has suffered since being taken over by Sports Direct - you can see the difference in the reviews from a few years ago compared to recent ones. I have sometimes managed to get a reasonable service buying small items of clothing etc but when I bought a pair of expensive riding boots which didn't fit the only way to return them was by Royal Mail at a cost of 14 quid which didn't exactly make me want to go running back to their website again. They do seem to have some great deals/cheap products but sometimes it's worth paying a bit more for better service elsewhere. I try to buy from other online retailers for equestrian products wherever possible.

Been to Robby's Saddlery today. Won't be going back.

Been to Robby's Saddlery today. What a waste of time since Sports Direct took over. Requisite rugs are crap colours and can't believe a horse place didn't even have a bloody salt lick. The shelves are empty and the dog department is a joke. Came out with a tub of limestone flour and a sweat scraper. Won't be going back.

Dreadful Customer Experience Let Down By Courier

Went through the order process paid £6.99 for next day delivery. Received email stating it was going to be delivered by Hermes, just knew it would not arrive as Hermes are rubbish. Phoned next day when parcel did not arrive again (as expected) customer services refused refund until they have parcel back from Hermes! Who knows where it is? Listen commercial customers- a good way to loose business is to use this courier LOOK AT THE REVIEWS FOR THEM. I will never use you again until you use a decent courier. MAIL ORDER+ RUBBISH COURIER = BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE + TAINTED REPUTATION you do the maths.

Dreadful customer service

Dreadful customer service, poor courier service and no-one answered the telephone at the weekend resulting in items needing to be purchased elsewhere. Paid for express delivery and then had to return everything as it arrived 5 days after I ordered it which was too late. They refused to compensate for cost of returns.

Horrible website

The first time I ordered a couple of brushes which came in pretty poor packaging but they work fine and I do like them.
Now this time I ordered a pair or riding boots for 48 GBP instead of the 119 they where supposed to be and a pair of trousers which where also in the sale.
The boots where very painful and the trousers I didn't even fit yet but they feel as if they will break if you wear them once.
Now I asked about returns before ordering and they didn't tell me I had to pay for the return postage, so when I wanted to return them I was pretty unhappy.
I had to package it up in bubble wrap since the original packaging was already 1 kg and I wasn't paying for that obviously.
Their company is really terrible since I told them that I rolled the trousers up and put them inside of the boot, but they just told me they don't speak with their returns employees.
What company does not speak if a customer needs you to speak.
That really, really wound me up.
I hope I will get my money back, if not I luckily already have a PayPal dispute open.

Still waiting on order from December 2016 - do not do business with this company!

For Christmas I ordered a grooming kit for my daughter and was given an expected delivery date of 20th Dec. I thought, 'perfect'. Unfortunately the delivery never came and I was informed that my order had been delayed.
Given that it was Christmas and such a busy period for retailers I would give them the benefit of the doubt.
My rearranged delivery date was expected for early January - better than nothing right?
Again, no delivery came and with no reason either. I followed this up with customer services of Robinson's and I was assured that my order would be with me by February, as the item that I HAD ALREADY ORDERED was now out of stock!
This has now followed on through to March and I'm yet to receive my order or an explanation as to why my order is still not with me. They have kindly informed me however that my next expected delivery will now be May, yippee...
There has been no apology for the poor service and time delay on my order which is completely unacceptable, unprofessional and ultimately pathetic from a supplier with such a highly regarded reputation. My money was taken immediately from my account yet I have nothing to show for it 4 months later.
I would strongly recommend anyone who is a passionate horse owner to avoid purchasing from this company. Not one good thing to say about them, except that they are quick at taking your money without giving anything in return.

Was over charged and they won't pay me back - RUBBISH!!!

Shop with Robinson's Leeds Megastore (part of Sports Direct) at your peril.
I had some items put through the till twice by ill-trained staff and while the manager agrees they owe me a refund, I've still not been paid. Been waiting over two months. Stupid, feckless store manager, scruffy, disorganised store, dreadful service all round.
Never again!

Appalling service

I bought horse clippers from Robinsons (sports direct) for my daughter for Christmas in November, unfortunately they where unsuitable, so I retutned with the clippers unused & never taken out of the box together with the receipt back to Robinsons. I was served by a totally incompetent member of staff, who didn't know how to deal with customers, when i explained the clippers where not suitable & I required a refund she told me I could only have a "credit note" !!! These clippers cost £220 & I did not want a credit note to spend in the worst sports shop in the country "sports direct" she did not know how to deal with me just kept repeating herself, so I left. I got home & rang to store manager who was just as unhelpful & very rude & also told me I could only have a credit note, unable to get any sense out of the "store manager" I put the phone down !!! Never ever shop here again, the shop has gone downhill & the staff are incompetent, rude & unhelpful !!!

AWFUL - will never buy from again

Do not ever ever ever try and order ANYTHING from Robinsons Equestrian - what an absolute waste of space...
So I place an order on Monday - for delivery 3-5 days later..
After 5 days the order is not here so I chase - the response " We tried to deliver and you refused acceptance of the delivery - the order is now on the way back to the warehouse - once received back in the warehouse we will refund you the money"
I replied with "I don't think so - if you could possibly tell me when they tried to deliver I can provide full CCTV footage of our courtyard to prove that no courier has been here to try and deliver the parcel"
Response - " As soon as the order has been received back here we will sort out a refund"
My reply - I don't want a refund I want my products here as ordered... Can you use another courier who will do a proper job this time?
Response - no this is the only courier we use - there are no other options..
To which I replied - There are other options - one of which is you could personally drive around and delivery my products? I appreciate this it not cost effective but it is an option... There are other couriers and you could use them - just because you choose not to is not my problem..
Their response - could we deliver to another address?
Me: Of course not a problem.. so I give them the work address:
I have now received another email - I am sorry we cannot deliver to another address - you will need to reorder all your products and pay again..
So I have now asked for the email address of their managing director.... I am absolutely fuming and disgusted with their service - not at any point have they addressed me by my name - I am Dear Customer and at the end of every email - if we can do anything else to help please don't hesitate to contact us.... YES I WANT MY ORDER AS PAID FOR AND I WANT IT DELIVERING!!! HOW HARD A REQUEST IS THIS?!?!?!

A great company!

Robinsons Equestrian offers a great range of products for horse and rider, and has a fantastic loyalty programme too! They are usually miles cheaper than the competition too.

Returns are easy with no quibbles.

They get only 4 stars as the delivery is hit and miss: sometimes it is mega quick, others it is a good couple of weeks before you get your order on a standard delivery. Delivery prices aren't cheap either.
Another quarm: you cannot use your points instore, and the better pricing seems only to be online also.

But, I've shopped with them for years and will continue to do so!

Five star customer care. Year after year after year

I have been a customer for many years now (5-plus) and I always experienced the very best customer care. Went looking on Trustpilot just now to see whether they are on this review site, and yes they are, because I felt the need to give positive feedback after once again they did everything they could do and more, when an item in my order was not quite what I expected.
So go ahead and browse their clearance section and pick some bargains with total confidence, order your usual equestrian supplies at prices that are always competitive, and don't hesitate to take their own brand Requisite where ever that is applicable to save a bit. And if you need some advice, you can trust that there is experienced staff around (long!!! time employees) that is knowledgeable and helpful, and will get back to you within a day. So an easy five star from me!

Thumbs up from Denmark!

Ordered a pair of Toggi country boots on the 12th of february and got them a week later.

The boots look really nice and feels very comfortable..

And i saved a lot of money. These kind of boots are very expensive in Dk.

Always impresses!

I've been buying online from Robinsons for years (not lucky enough to live near any of their store unfortunately), and have always been impressed with the range of goods, prices and customer service.

They regularly beat similar companies on prices, and their new Riders' Rewards scheme is great - every purchase earns points which count towards future purchases. This is in addition to regular money-off offers.

Delivery is usually pretty speedy and communication is good. I've yet to have to chase any orders up, and I've placed a lot of orders over the years!

If only they'd open a store in Scotland!!
