Looks Beautiful Online… But the Reality Is Very Different

I wish I had read the warning signs before purchasing from Rock & Raw Jewellery.

This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing customer experiences I have ever had in my life. From the moment the item arrived damaged/faulty, the entire process that followed was handled with almost no communication, no follow-up, and virtually non-existent customer service, all words no actions.

To be clear — the company acknowledged the fault and even apologised for the unacceptable quality and experience. They also confirmed after months of fighting and a dispute being processed that a refund would be issued. Based on that, I returned the necklace.

What happened next is beyond unacceptable.

They now have both my £430 and the original damaged necklace back, yet they are refusing to issue the refund that they previously agreed to. Instead, excuses and changing narratives appeared after the fact.

This behaviour shows a complete disregard for basic retail standards and UK consumer law, including protections under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.

The lack of integrity throughout this process has been shocking. There was no proactive communication, no accountability, and no meaningful customer support at any stage. The experience from start to finish has been exhausting.

What makes this even more ironic is that the brand heavily markets itself around crystals, healing energy and spiritual values. In reality, the way this situation has been handled demonstrates the exact opposite of the trust and authenticity they claim to represent.

It honestly does not matter how beautiful the website looks, how polished the product photos are, or how convincing the social media presence appears.

When something goes wrong — and in retail things sometimes do — this company has shown they cannot be trusted to put it right.

At the moment they have:
• My money
• Their faulty necklace back
• And are still withholding the refund that should legally be returned.

From reading other reviews, this does not appear to be an isolated experience.

⚠️ My advice to anyone considering purchasing: buy with extreme caution.
Make sure you have payment protection because if something goes wrong, you may find yourself fighting to get your money back.

My Ascension Drop came in a beautiful white box with a handwritten note. It was tucked in a soft, grey pouch. I enjoy wearing it more than any other piece of jewellery and often find myself spinning the crystal or admiring its colours (it's a gorgeous moonstone).

I am the proud owner of two stunning Rock + Raw pieces. The detail, clarity and presentation of this jewellery is beyond stunning. I own a black onyx necklace and moonstone ring, both extremely powerful pieces and without sounding dramatic I can’t imagine my life without them.
I urge anyone to treat themselves to whatever piece catches their eye, you won’t regret it.

We love the jewelry and the customer support is amazing. I feel like rock and raw cares about their customers, and their product is art! We highly recommend.

I have been I love with Rock and Raw for years now. Every piece of jewellery I get blows me away. The power of the crystals is out of this world. The rose quartz has helped heal my heart, the citrine has amplified my ambition in business and my success, the blank onyx is like a big hug from supportive friend and the malachite is so powerful I can only wear it when I am ready for a full blown transformation. Each piece speaks to me in different aspects of my life. I see them like little bits of armour and angels all at once.

The workmanship that goes into the pieces are like nothing I have ever seen before. Nothing rivals it.

The whole experience from the Instagram to the website to the packaging to the piece is excellent.

I can’t wait to purchase my next piece.

My rock and raw piece was a gift to myself after a difficult few months. I purchased a talisman infinity necklace and couldn’t be more pleased with it. It truly is a beautiful and powerful piece of jewellery. In terms of quality it is leagues above anything I have ever purchased. Stunning packaging, excellent communication re delivery and arrived super quick. I would recommend this store to anyone. I am in love with this piece and had so so many compliments whilst wearing it. I love this company.
I first purchased a stunning neckless as a present last year.
More recently I got a bracelet with two stones. As I got to choose everything (type of bracelet and each of the stones) I feel like I got something completely unique.
The customer service was great; I had to ask a couple of questions and the answers were very helpful and provided promptly (I am a real novice at this kind of thing!).
I would definetly buy from them again.

LOVE my Rock and Raw piece. I finally bought one a few weeks ago after initially hesitating, and i have to say I am thrilled with it. It arrived within a few days, beautifully and thoughtfully packaged. The stone is divine, simple and elegant. I am about to buy more for each of my bridesmaids as I know they will love them. Well worth the treat :-)

These pieces are truly nothing special and I regret my purchases.I really wanted one and ignored the bad reviews. The one I bought for my daughter was rose quartz but barely pink and came unglued (yes they are glued together) so I paid $55 to send it back for repairs. The woman in customer service who looked at the pic couldn’t tell if the stone was quartz or rose quartz either. Save your money they are tiny glued together and poor customer service. I did some research and bought a piece from a different cutter and wore them side by side ( I bought a quartz for myself) and the clarity of the new stone was impeccable and almost twice the size for half the price. My rock and raw stone looks grey and cloudy next to my new stone. Look into real crystal cutters who source high quality stones. They have great marketing that I definitely fell for.

Don’t do it!
After months yearning for a piece of Rock and Raw I couldn’t be more disappointed.

The worse customer care, flimsy product and an utter rip off.

I placed an order in April which was accepted and confirmed. When I had heard nothing from them within the promised time, I contacted the company and a whole chain of lies and deception started from this point. I was told that there were delays, that my order was the next in the workshop etc. Not once did they contact me without prompting.

Eventually, some seven months later I demanded my money back but was ignored and emails weren't replied to. It took a letter to the company director's home address to get a response and a promise of a refund. But guess what? No refund.

Finally, after threatening legal action I was refunded the money eight months later. And even then it wasn't for the full amount.

Whether this is pure incompetence, or something much worse I do not know, but this counts as the worst consumer experience of my life and one that I would implore you to avoid.
