Received my first order of a few veg plugs today and they did not disappoint. I found the website after visiting my local garden centres looking for ready sowed veg plants and couldn’t find any at all. The website very easy to use and very helpful as a new allotment owner with not much experience. I was able to click away and find what plants I could plant plant out now and just picked away. Order was sent in a few days of ordering, as expected from the info given beforehand.
Everything arrived neatly packaged, plastic free and I could smell the quality of the soil/ compost they were grown in. The catalogue is a gorgeous and helpful read and I will definitely be referring back to it and ordering more as the months go on.
Just hope my growing skills improve and I end up with some lovely vegetables for winter!!
Would love to visit the farm and see all these plants in their early stages. 🙂

Received my first order plants today. Duly delivered by Royal Mail as promised.
I am very pleased with my plants I have potted them on this afternoon. They look great. They were beautifully packed in brown paper and cardboard all now in my compost bin. So absolutely no waste. I’m delighted the plants are all organic as I’m growing them for the Kirkwood Hospice. Where I’m sure they’ll be served to patients and their families,staff and volunteers in the not too distant future.

This summer growing season, I have ordered so many plants, plugs and seeds from several different place but Rocket Gardens has been by far my favourite plug/plant order. My order contained cauliflower, broccoli anf sweetcorn plugs and I wish I had ordered more but I've already pushed the boundaries of acceptable distancing. All the plants arrived healthy and in one piece securely nestled in recyclable brown paper and card packaging. It's the only order from an online nursery that has arrived all in one piece with nothing snapped, pinched or wilted. On top of that, Rocket enclosed the absolute best catalogue, ever! It is full of extensive, beautifully illustrated listings, a useful planting calendar and lots of information. I will definitely order again!

I ordered some autumn plants from Rocket Gardens. They arrived when expected, well packed and healthy plants. I love the booklet that was enclosed. It has some very useful tips. I'm looking forward to some lovely veg in a few months!

Rocket gardens would get a 0 star from me but ther is no option fir that first of all my order was late 2nd the items they sent wear not what I orderd. 3rd the custmer servis robot herby is broken I was on the live chat on and if f it r 2hrs over 3 days now and still have not heard back iv sent them emails with regards to my orde slso the plants they sent are now dead and I’m not sure how to get the correct plants or a refund this is the 2nd time iv used rocket gardens and had isues with my order I thought it was a 1 of but I can see they don’t care about ther customers avoid at all cost unles you want to be dispoited like I am

I have bought many times from Rocket Gardens. The last few times - the experience has been 5*. I live in a remote and rural area and the only reliable carrier that delivers 6 days a week is Royal Mail. I was delighted to learn the Rocket Gardens now only use Royal Mail. My last deliver of carrot plug plants arrived within 2 days - normally would take 4-5 days, meaning, my plants were fresh. I found the customer service very responsive and helpful, keeping me updated as necessary. Highly recommend and will continue buying from them.

The plants arrived and were really poor. I photographed them and informed rocket gardens immediately. Have sent three further emails and have had no response. I have been a faithful supporter of Rocket Gardens buying plants from them in previous years, their lack of customer care has really saddened me. I spent £70 on my summer veg and have been left with almost nothing to show for the cost.

I have today received my first delivery of plants from Rocket Garden and to say that I’m pleased is an understatement. I was absolutely DELIGHTED.

The quality of the Beetroot and Swiss chard plants was superb and great care had been taken when they’d been packed for transit.

I’d been advised as to the date they would leave the nursery and they arrived very soon after and in peak condition.

I would have no hesitation in ordering again and in recommending the nursery to other gardeners.

I pre ordered my plants on 31st of March knowing I’d have to wait until early May for delivery. Fine.
The goal post then changed to end of May. I chased up the order to be told it would be another 2 weeks because the “peppers had failed” at which point I pointed out the tomatoes I’d ordered would have been and gone by mid June! On 13th June I received an email they had refunded me for some pepper plants, so I wasn’t getting my full order at this point. Yet another disappointment.

I received an email the next day that my order had been dispatched and it finally arrived on 16th June. I can’t describe the state of what arrived! It was an embarrassment to even send them out. Snapped, battered, weedy, half dead, fully dead. About 60% were put straight in the bin. Another 20% perished after 2 days. I asked for a refund of my tomatoes, which was given. But the peppers have subsequently died and I can’t even be bothered to ask for a refund on these.
I’m totally pissed off to be honest. Waiting all this time for a pile of dead crap.
Appalling experience. Never again. Can’t believe this company is in business and pretty certain the recent 5 stars are fake reviews.

Fantastic service and plants highly recommended

I used to love this company 7 or 8 years ago , my plants always came packed in straw and healthy looking in the main any breakages i phoned and spoke to a person .
This year i moved house and decided as the move was late march to order the large constant garden plus some bits and bobs nearly£500 of items .
first couple of orders came and were great
then i had order 3 my mixture of lettuces 30 or i think were iceberg BORInG on a small garden selection i used to get 3 or 4 varieties on there largest i get lots of the worlds most boring lettuce.
My one very expensive sweet potato was headless and one of my 6 butternuts was not much better
I emailed expecting a we are sorry My point re lettuces was ignored , i was told they expect photographic evidence of the headless potato and squash , i got sent a replacement squash but nothing for the sweet potato which was £6 or the rubbish yellowing iceberg lettuces
and the tomatoes in this selection. we’re all one type , when i started buying i would get all different tomato’s so disappointing!
next order came chillis and peppers looked like they had been planted a week ago barely a micro plug plant and the extra ones i paid £6 for 3 also barely a micro plug and lots of dry loose soil , not sure these will give chillis or peppers this year even in my poly tunnel, Glad i paid Marshall’s the same price for several varieties of 3 chills or peppers which came well developed in 3 inch pots and 12 inches plus tall.
I won’t complain about these chillis and peppers , the company obviously doesn’t care about plants or customer service , just a quick profit using organic as a gimmick .
My most recent delivery of my constant garden since the awful boring lettuces i got all little gem , no they didn’t listen to me did they!

Superb Company to deal with. Yes, they take longer than average to ship but well worth the wait. I highly recommend them and will now keep this company as my main supplier from now on for my seasonal growing, turning away from the likes of Suttons and Thompson and Morgan and many others who are well over priced, shoddy service and poor quality delivery of plant stock.
Rocket Gardens in my opinion use a fantastic, super simple, eco friendly packaging method ensuring every single plant I ordered arrived in great healthy condition with no damage along with a brilliant growing and ordering guide booklet. Their prices are totally affordable and sensible even for me as a pensioner.
This company have left no stone unturned and above all have learned how NOT to do it from the other market contenders. Well done Team Market Garden 👏👏👏

The delivery times are far too long to wait and while I was waiting I decided I would order some off Amazon… I had both the ones off Amazon and the ones from rocket garden delivered on the same day and just as others have said, the plants are tiny and look barely a couple of weeks old, whereas the ones off amazon were a brilliant size and already ready to put out some fruit! Rocket gardens plants I will have to wait for fruit next year as I doubt I will get anything this year which is a shame considering the wait! I expected more. Not worth the money in my opinion so therefore I have to leave a bad review.

I have never had any problem with Rocket Garden. The plants always arrive in great condition using Royal Mail helps!. They never use plastic and the way the plants are packed works so well, other growers ought to take a leaf out of Rocket Gardens book!

What a breath of fresh air! Very professional. I was so impressed with the quality of the plants and their careful packaging. All the plants were plantable and looked healthy and strong. Indeed the mange tout have already started to send out tendrils. The delivery was timely and reliable. Thank you ,Rocket Gardens.

Long delivery timescales so don’t order if you’re keen to get your plug plants in. Ordered in the 1st June and still waiting for my plants (it’s now the 11th June).

This year stockist I've used for many years supplied me plants that were a mess, so I googled suppliers took a chance on Rocket Gardens and I had to take time to leave a review that is unlike me.

I've never had such beautifully packed plants so beautifully labelled with scannable growing guides. All my plants were a great price, lovely strong established plants, securely packaged to endure a rough delivery. I'm only disappointed I hadn't found them earlier this year as I will only be shopping for plants with rocket gardens from now on.

A truly fabulous seller and worth every penny!

Terrible service and no plants! Ordered in April, nothing received by end of May, chased to be told they had gone missing and would be re-sent. Got a delivery estimate of between 3rd and 8th of June. 2 days later told 9th to 13th June so requested full refund. No apology just told to cancel my order. Don't waste your money or time.

Ordered plants on 2nd April, Delivered on 31st May. Plants were underdeveloped for time of year, one variety of tomato was bone dry and so stressed the plants were in full flower at 25cm. None survived. The peas were also flowering on receipt and it's unlikely I will get a crop. I contacted the company and they were very apologetic. I didn't ask for a refund, I'll just go back to growing from seed next year. All in all my impression is that they were overstretched and just getting anything out regardless of quality.
