Rocksteady has been absolutely great for my daughter who is a singer in one of the bands at her primary school.
I have watched her grow in confidence and develop musical skills, this development has had a positive impact on every aspect of my daughters development.
I would also like to give a shout out to the gentlemen that runs the show and does such an amazing job at it - Daz.
Daz could not be more encouraging for the children and he truly is a subject matter expert when it comes to Music and entertainment!
I would highly recommend Rocksteady to any budding musicians.

My son loves being part of rocksteady! Daz is always so friendly and helpful and has so much energy cheering the kids on. It was a proud moment watching my son and his band in the concert today!

After going to see my nine-year-old son in his first ever rocksteady concert, I am amazed on how far he has come, this was a little boy who had no confidence and suffers with anxiety.

Lillie-Mai started rock steady a couple of weeks ago, we were abit concerned she wouldn’t cope as she is autistic, but I have to say, Luke has made her feel so comfortable and she normally struggles with adults, but Lillie-Mai comes home from school absolutely grinning from ear to ear saying she loves it and Luke is very kind to her, we went to the first concert today and omg we were blown away, Luke had the children smiling throughout the concert, seeing all their smiling faces was fantastic!

Yet again DAZ has done a fantastic job at my daughters school and all the performers were excellent today I could see how much some off them have come along from the Xmas performance. My daughter was a singer and since January she has changed and now a drummer and thankx to DAZ teaching techniques my daughter asked for a drum kit for her birthday just gone in March. I contacted Daz and the team to ask were I could get one from they were great and sent me a Web link very much appreciated. So keep doing what you DAZ my daughter loves her lesson with you at Galley Hill Primary school you have brought out her confidence in the last year and half so I truly thank you for that.

My daughter has been enrolled in Rocksteady for a couple of months now and she absolutely loves it. She's naturally quite shy and usually pretty nervous with new experiences. I never thought that I'd see her standing on stage happily and confidently performing in front of an audience but this week we went and watched her in her first concert and it was brilliant.
Our band leader, Mark, is clearly fantastic with the kids, coaching them, noticing where some children need a bit more support, encouraging them and sharing his love of music.
I really like that each of the bands are made up with children from different year groups - meaning that they're learning social skills (as well as music) and the older children become mentors for the younger ones.
She looks forward to her Rocksteady sessions every week and I'm looking forward to seeing which song they'll tackle next!

My son has only been in Rocksteady for a few months and he looks forward to his weekly lessons. He thoroughly enjoyed his first concert last week. He is a huge Michael Jackson fan, so being part of a band is like making his dreams of being a performer a reality. Always good for a 7yr old to dream. I only wish I had heard about Rocksteady sooner.

Today was my son’s first concert with his band, and it was fantastic! I didn’t expect the performance to be of such a high standard, or that the band would learn the music so well. The teacher is amazing—it’s clear that they love working with children, and they are funny and very supportive. They helped the kids a lot during the concert, and you can see they truly enjoy what they do. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

I can’t recommend this enough, my son started three months ago (Imani) he is learning the drums he is a very shy boy and today he did his concert ,me and my partner was almost in tears. seeing our little boy so happy and confident. his teacher Max is amazing so brilliant with the kiddies you can see how much it means to him and the kids love him so all i can say is if your thinking about your child joining then i 100% can tell you it will be worth it! Thank you so much Max for everything you teach our little boy. Xx

I have just attended a Rocksteady concert at my sons school. The children and adults all had a great time, it was very entertaining. Daz is a fab band leader, he's great with the children who seem to thoroughly enjoy performing. My son loves it!

A very relaxed, warm and positive atmosphere for a school rock concert. Which could otherwise be daunting. Excellent Compering from Daz up front - kept parent audience engaged and involved and entertained the school kids between set ups with effortless crowd work. Spotted performances that were drifting or struggling and and guided the students back on track during live performance. Daz is a humorous, genuine and playful character to have leading the show and a great role model for our budding musicians.

My son has been having Rocksteady lessons for 2.5 years now. His teacher, Daz makes the lessons a lot of fun, very inclusive and has bought even more confidence out in him. It’s incredible to see how much he’s learnt in this time. Thanks for all the passion, energy and encouragement you bring Daz!

My kids loved the experience to play in a band and perform on stage. It has been a great introduction to music and they have both gone on to more formal lessons for the instrument of choice.

Daz has given our children confidence to perform. The concerts have been lovely to watch. The children are very proud of their involvement in their bands...
