I recently had a great experience with…

I recently had a great experience with the sales team at Rolson Tools, particularly Anvin. There was an item missing from my order initially, but the team handled the situation quickly and professionally. The communication was clear, and the issue was resolved without any hassle.

I’ve now received the missing item and am very happy with the service overall. It’s always reassuring to see a company take responsibility and ensure customer satisfaction. Thanks again to the sales team for the excellent support!

Next to useless

Bought a pair of 'hedge' shears from B&M. Very cheap but next to useless. So blunt they won't even trim grass. Ended up using my kitchen scissors instead! Can't take them back because they've been used and I no longer have the packaging. Oh well, lesson learned

ROLSON product. I wanted to order a product from the…

I wanted to order a product from the Rolson company but it sells to wholesalers only and I am just a one-product only customer. However, after contacting Rolson customer care unit, a member of the team kindly sent me details of a supplier I could contact to purchase the item - Manaswi Kharel. I was impressed by this good customer service and really appreciated this good service. I was able to purchase the item and am happy with the outcome.

Thanks Rolson!

This review follows outstanding customer service received from Manaswi Kharel who is part of Rolson’s Sales and Customer Service Team.
In the lead up to Christmas I wanted to buy two ‘Twin Pack Folding Lock Back Knife’ as small gifts. As I was unable to find them at the local B & M store (where I had purchased a set before), or indeed anywhere else that sells Rolson tools, I contacted Rolson for advice.
It transpired this product is only sold in B & M stores and so Rolson contacted B & M on my behalf and I obtained an inventory of the stores throughout the UK that had stock of the item - the very same day. How’s that for customer service?
It then only required me to select a couple of stores a bit further afield than I might normally venture and I was able to purchase the sets.
As for Rolson tools – I love them and have been buying them for years. They are great value for money and ideal for home DIY and repair activities. That said I have on a number of occasions seen them being used by tradesman too. That is always a good sign. For me they are the adult version of ‘a kid in a sweet shop’ and wherever I see them on display, I stop and look to see if there is anything to add to my collection. Thanks Rolson!

FINGERPRINT PADLOCK

Me and my wife bought the Rolson Fingerprint Padlock from B&M I was quite excited to use it as I love technology and the idea of no keys was brilliant, I had the lock just over a week and it won't accept my fingerprints and the security code you set up wont work , ive ended up having to angle grind this padlock off to get into my shed very bad experience do not buy this not fit for purpose.

Excellent after service.

I contacted the company as a small but important part on my purchase had broken whilst in use. I enquired about a possible replacement part and was extremely impressed with the customer service department who promptly responded positively to my email. The service displayed by company was exemplary and within a short time frame I received the replacement unit. My thanks to the company, I would definitely recommend them for the standard of their service. Well done.

Replacement of faulty item.

Did have problems in getting replies. Once these were sorted then the company came up trumps. A big thank you to a lady called Maneswi who handled the case brilliantly.

Replacement part

I needed a replacement hose connector for my Rolson extendable brush, or it would have been unable to connect to a hose. I contacted Rolson's customer service department, and having explained the situation, was told they would send a replacement part free of charge. The part (2 of them, in fact) arrived very promptly. I am very grateful for this excellent customer service, and would recommend the company for their products and their service.

Outstanding service

I was most impressed with the response I got from Rolson Tools Ltd. I originally contacted them regarding batteries for one of their discontinued torches because I had found my torch extremely useful for many years. They were very quick to respond requesting more information and then, following my reply, and being unable to give me the information I required due to the torch being discontinued they sent me, free of charge, their nearest torch as a replacement. I thought this service went above and beyond as most firms would simply have ignored my original request or would have simply said sorry, can't help. It's rare these days to receive such outstanding service from a supplier.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

Initial disappointment at only 6 week duration of 'Heavy duty expandable hose pipe' before a leak in the hose (purchased in B&M's)
Thankfully, direct contact with the sales department of Rolson, did have a satisfactory outcome for a replacement. Hopefully this
effort for improvement in their customer services will now continue.

Exceptional customer service.

I have been a user of Rolson Tools for a number of years as I think they offer quality products at reasonable prices, recently my 9/16 spanner snapped, I contacted customer services and within a few days I was in receipt of a replacement, excellent service, a massive thank you to Sanjay.

We had a complaint about the telescopic window cleaner and after a couple of emails to Rolson Tools they have resolved the issues and I am looking forward to cleaning my upstairs windows with the item to save me getting out my ladders so it will be much safer for me

Avoid at all cost.

I just opened a Retractable Knife that was apparently bought at B&M.
When I say "opened" I mean that I used my trusty Stanley knife to cut my way into the package and that's as far as I can get.
The knife cannot be slid out (presumably because the handle is empty) and the spare blades cannot be put into their holder because it won't open.
What a total waste of time.
